Here we go again...No the brain does not need carbs... The brain needs glucose... The body will produce glucose from fat. Yes it works for people of any activity level.

This is broscience at its very best... Complete BS... No one needs carbs...
-

Here is a mind blower for you...l if you drop your carbs and do not increase your fats... You will fail. Both provide energy to the body.... Protein does not. So set your protein at about .8 grams per kilo body weight... For me that is about 100 then lower your carbs to what ever amount you want... I suggest to start go to…

Glad to see you found us.... Rocky

Getter idea.... Go zero carb.... Then it doesnt matter anymore... Today is day 3 of zero carb and zero tracking for me... So far so good...
-
Well this will not end well...
-
Is it really necessary for all of these AH responses? You know what she means....

Oh at least 6 or 7 times a day... So I can get depressed at how slowly I have lost weight and give up...ok sarcasm turned off.... I weigh myself as often taking off as I weighed myself when I was putting it on... No more than once per week.... Same day same time of day. Consistancy be thine name...
-
My how things change in a day...we have to move to Az for up to 8 weeks, 1 hour to pack and go. So I will be going zero carb... No weighing or tracking anything.... This better work...LOL Posted this yesterday ....

Generally it is a pretty good bet that when weight loss stalls... Either you are under estimating your calories consumed, or over estimating your calories burned. Case in point.... I rode a bicycle on flat ground slowly for 74 minutes today. MFP said I burned over 600 calories... My heart rate monitor said 114.

I am still a newby to LCHF... So I still count calories... Matter of fact I weigh and log every single thing. I am tempted to stop logging at some point in the future but to me that seems like a slippery slope back to weight gain. I would also like to say that I have had a loss every week for 13 weeks in a row. So for now,…

None at all...

Wow... So should we go to the main forums with this info??? Nope
-
Brazil nuts .... I would substitute Walnut instead, add avacado, salsa, beef sticks, coconut oil, more bacon...
-
Same receipe guide...Low carb... Baked Lebanese Chicken
-
Kidney???
-
The problem is dogs eating avacados off a tree. The seed will choke and possibly kill them.
-
Just about all stalls are related to how you calculate your amount of calories in or your amount of calories out.... It appears to me that you dont log your food.... If you do not then I would start there.... Without a log you really dont know how much you are eating.
-
Pretty much any above ground veggie. All green leafy vega.... Berries are great for fruit but that is about it.... Google low carb fruit...
-
Will the dog eat it? If not... Oh well....garbage can.... Wont try that again.
-
Lunch meat.... 3 slices, layer bacon across 3 slices, spread cream cheese on, roll up and bake.
-
Then I would ask the question... Why are you here?
-
I suggest that you go to the top of this page and read The Launch Pad... It explains macros in detail.
-
Not the first 10 pounds or possibly even the second 10.... But by the 3rd and fourth.... Yup too aggressive. Also at 1200 calories you are going to get sick and tired of being hungry.
-
And re. 1200, I'd like to lose 50lb in a reasonable amount of time (four to five months) so to do that I'll need a good calorie deficit.[/quote] Good luck with this... I believe that your expectation is way way to agressive. Long term I would suggest that 50 lbs would be a great goal for the first year. Your additional 30…

I have eliminated dairy by going Keto.... Yes most dairy is low carb. I think cutting it depends on you... If you are diabetic or prone to being diabetic... Then cutting it out may be a good thing. If not I dont think I would remove it, until it proves to be a problem.
