Try adding some eggs in the morning and add fresh vegetables and a small red potato or some oatmeal with a banana and some unsweetened almond milk or some whole grain cereal and a pice of fruit.......for lunch maybe a nice salad with some chicken and low fat dressing or a tuna sandwich and a bowl of healthy soup. For…

Thank you for sharing. I can relate to the story somewhat as my son was teased for his weight when he was in school and would be so depressed that the kids teased him so much. Look at what you've done! You didn't give up and kept trying. That's the key to the weight loss journey. I know you will reach your two year goal…

I noticed at 10 pounds but no one else has said anything. I have a lot of weight to lose so I really don't care if anyone notices. I'm doing this for me.

I don't have an answer for you as I will eventually have the same issues so I'm interested in the responses you get. I did want to say that you look beautiful and wanted to congratulate you on getting healthy.

This is it in a nutshell....learning portion control......the secret of weight loss.

Quit weighing yourself for two or three weeks and eat as healthy as you can. When you weigh again you will show a loss. That way you won't get discouraged and will give your body a chance to adjust to your weight loss. This works for me. Good luck!

I weigh each day as long as I stay the same weight or show a loss. If I show a small gain I stop weighing for a couple of weeks and then weigh. I always show a loss then. I begin weighing again each day and the cycle continues. I lose pretty slow so this works for me and keeps me from getting discouraged.

Congrats on breaking a major milestone!

There's a great thread today which is asking 'why do people gain their weight back after losing and reaching goal. It's very informative and might be something you should take a look at. Many of the comments from people who have maintained their weight loss are still tracking calories and exercise just the same as they did…

You need to have some blood work done to get your count and see if you have thyroid disease. If you have hyper or hypo thyroid ism your doctor will prescribe thyroid medication. You can' t correct thyroid disease with supplements. I have had hypothyroidism for 25 years and have a blood test every six months to a year to…

Our minds are very powerful and will always slip back to what is familiar. If we don't stay aware and in control it will take over.

I lost 48 pounds on a low carb diet in 4 months. After a couple years I gained it all back because there was no way I could continue to eat that way the rest of my life. What I learned is you can't maintain weight loss when you're not eating a normal diet. You can eat a healthy diet that includes all food groups including…

I lost 18 pounds on the BFC. I stopped losing after a while and began counting calories and started losing again. I think it's a good program but I didn't like keeping track of the sugar, carbs, and fiber and figuring out what I could eat each day. Good luck, I,m sure you will do well.

You are beautiful. Congratulations!

I'm sorry you're having a difficult time. I was married to a man like that once...thankfully that was a long time ago. I got Graves Disease and gained a lot of weight while I was sick. Unfortunately, it effected my thyroid and it was very hard to lose. Even though I forbade him to talk to me in a demeaning way, his looks…

To be healthy, have energy, shop in a regular woman's department store, and tuck in my blouse with a belt and stop hiding my tummy!

Terrific job!! You look amazing and very happy!

Wow, you look so different. It is incredible that no one has said anything to you. There is quite a difference. You look like you've lost more than 25 pounds. Good luck on your next 25 and don't think about others. I've lost 22 pounds and no one has said anything to me and I've went down a whole size. I think a lot of…
