Hi Deb: I'm getting close to 40 pounds lost and my Phase I thread is getting long so I thought I'd start another thread. Happy New Year!!

Hi Joe... I can't believe I'm saying Phase II. I never thought it would happen. I'm still going strong except for a few times I ate a couple meals over the holidays. It happened and I've moved on. Nothing will stop me until I reach goal and then I will determine how I will tweak my eating to keep the weight off. I'll…

Same with me....looking back at my eating habits: Monday - It's the beginning of the week so I'll eat what I want and begin better eating tomorrow. Thursday - Payday, nice lunch and out to dinner with a friend. Friday - Free doughnuts at work and later that evening 'Thank God it's Friday' special treat. Sunday - Lunch…

Hi: I'm 65 years young. Feel free to add me as a friend. I've got about 80 pounds to lose.
-
You are welcomed to add me to your friends. I've been here a while and still have a ways to go to reach my goal. Have you tried using exercise bands to tone your arms. I don't belong to a gym but have used the Walk the Walk videos to work out at home and using bands to tone up. I've belonged to a gym in the past and didn't…

Feel free to add me. I've been here a while and would love to have a few more friends.

Hi Diane: You can add me and we can cheer each other on. I have about 80 to lose. I'm on here everyday. I'll send you a friend request.

I have thyroid issues as well. I just had my blood work done and my meds need to be increased again. I've had Hashimoto's for 25 years now and have struggled with my weight during this time. I lose slow - but that's okay as long as I'm losing something. Only weigh once a week. Find a calorie range that works for you. Maybe…

Welcome Jaygirl!!

I want to keep this to refer back to when I reach my goal. This makes a lot of sense and takes the fear out of maintenance. Awesome!!
-
Congratulations on your outstanding successful weight loss. You are beautiful and give so many of us inspiration to keep going. Thank you!
-
Wow....what a difference. Keep up the great work!!

Since returning to OMAD on July 13 I have lost 8 pounds in 3 1/2 weeks!
-
Every little bit counts.

I don't know how much weight I've lost but I can now zip a pair of jeans that was impossible when I began. They are tight but another week or so and I know I'll be able to wear them and feel comfortable.

I have Hashimoto's autoimmune thyroid disease and have been battling weight for a long time. My thyroid count is always changing so my medication changes too. I put on 60 pounds in six months and have lost some using MFP. Good luck!

I'm lucky because I have my own private office at work and I don't take lunch so I can leave an hour early. I don't have to listen to criticism. However, when I first began OMAD I had a some comments on MFP about my food diary showing only dinner. With some direction, I learned that I didn't have to answer those comments…

You lost weight! That's great. You should only weigh once a week because it can drive you nuts. I use to weigh every day and then my scale broke and I didn't replace it. Now I go by how my clothes fit. The next time I go to the doctor I will get weighed and I'll see my results in pounds. You can use a scale, a measuring…

5 days on OMAD. I will weigh on Thursday.

Amazing difference....you look happier and healthier.
-
Great job...you look awesome!

There is a big difference. I see your arms, shoulders, neck, stomach, face are much smaller than the before picture. Sometimes you have to see yourself through another person's eyes. Keep up the great work. Blessings

Today I drank a coke in the afternoon. I know that probably isn't a great idea but I had a headache and that nipped it in the bud. Eating great tonight! Fish, baked potato with butter and cheese, green beans with onions and tri colored peppers, bread, apple butter, and an apple.

Thanks for your input. I have been on the program before but stopped. I got past the hunger stage and it wasn't bad at all. In fact, I had more energy, slept better, and seemed to concentrate easier. Good luck to you too. I accepted your friend request.

Welcome ladies!

I started OMAD today. I was very hungry and for some reason I couldn't keep my eyes opened and wanted to lay my head on the desk and go to sleep. It lasted for several hours. Drank water and iced tea. Also, had some watermelon. Tomorrow I'm trying to go all day without fruit. I'm hoping to get a cell phone soon so I can…

You've come a long way baby!

I think I like not having to preplan meals and sleeping better.
