Very impressive number of steps. Never worried exactly how accurate my Fitbit is it is the intent that is most important (although I find the One more reliable than the wrist worn products). Knee is playing up again so booked in to see a physio

February 1 -- Forgot to wear Fitbit! February 2 -- 7,138 (Birthday!) February 3 -- 2,492 steps February 4 -- 3,028 steps February 5 -- 17,848 steps I live in Southern England so the weather is hit and miss all year round. Today started dreary but dry then rained during my 10km (6.25 miles) walk with my companion:

Late to the challenge but never too late to start! Need to clear this headache anyway so best foot forward.

I don't wear my wedding ring anymore due to it falling off. Unfortunately it has a pattern so it may not be possible to get it re-sized. I also need to buy new suits and shirts. Great achievement for all those in the same position if a little expensive

Thanks for the advice. Going with the flow then as body aches but isn't painful, should have done some stretching after the home improvement would probably have helped. At least the calorie burn would have been higher for six hours then normal which I didn't include in MFP and my food diary was just under my calories for…

Incline seems to be very effective for raising the heart beat. I'm not overly fit at the moment but at 8-9% incline and speed of 5Kmph raises my heart to 135bpm which burns quite a few calories at relatively easy workout. Especially good at the moment as my knee is recovering from a minor injury and walking is less…

We have a four year old Golden Retriever called Lucy. She acts dumb but is actually quite smart but incredibly stubborn, training her was a nightmare. She has a wonderful character and a great addition to the family with a loveable character

Responding to my own post. I have now been to visit a sport injury physio. She quickly identified that the knee soreness or aching was a symptom of the quads not being strong enough when going from fairly little exercise to much more exercise. The patella is being pulled across my knee to the outside edge which causes the…

What a change, great effort. I keep thinking on these threads of the difference on the outside but the change on the inside and in the head is even more impressive we just can't see it

Thanks for posting. The girls on the Success Stories are an inspiration but it is good to see a guy write his experience and photo progress. I've only been MFP for a few weeks and mainly concentrating on cardio on the gym as well as lots more walking (not sure the dog is happy with 3 mile walks), next week I want to start…

The post by Heybales is what I am trying to achieve. At the moment I want to loose weight as my primary goal, once I'm in the normal BMI range then I want to switch to fitness. My wife and I go to the gym 2 or 3 times a week and I use this for a high intensity workout, the other days I use as recovery and go for long walks…
