  • I think you're looking into this wayyyyy too much. You're trying a million different changes at once and hoping you can figure out what works. Why dont you try one small change at a time and find that sweet weight loss spot. Set your calories. eat exactly those calories for 2 weeks and eat back exercise calories and montor…
  • Whats your normal weigh in day? i find i fluctuate throughout the week by as much as 6lbs. Sunday is my 'lightest' day for some reason, when i get to Friday and early saturday I can be 5-6lbs heavier than I am on the Sunday. I only weigh in once a week on the same day at the same time with the same routine. Its important…
  • I did a massive upper body weight workout last night and today im so pumped. I'm sitting here in my suit surrounded by colleagues secretly feeling my biceps and pecks and flexing constantly! I feel so dirty...
  • I've decided I no longer have food as a treat. If I want a burger i'll have one and i'll train harder to cancel it out. I'll always think like that from now on so when I do reach goal i'll be able to stay there. Here is my list that i'm already saving the money for!! Wedding ring resize £20 Tirup swivel armchair £325…
  • You'll need to consistantly eat 1000-2000 calories over your TDEE to put on weight. If you upped yours to just below TDEE for the little amount you have left to lose then you'll get there slowly but surely and you'll be very close to maintenance which should then be easy to transition into
  • I upped mine from 1600 to 1800 and lost weight more consistantly. I even fluctuate +/-200 cals intake and can get away with it as im not more active on a daily basis. Find your TDEE and base your intake on 80% of that. It will be more than 1200
  • Thats great. You will see that happens alot, you'll get loads of change at once or for the next 5-10lbs and then your body will stop changing for a little while. then all of a sudden it will happen again! It really does go 'woosh' as people say
  • I'm Andy and my superpower is internet based procrastination.
  • The only time it annoys me is if they are hogging a machine and not achieving anything (whilst preventing me from achieving my goal). The rest of the time i dont notice them
  • The only noticeable differences for me have been clearer urine (a healthier sign, it used to be dark!) and less/no cramps. I used to get cramp in my legs really bad and I havent had any in 2 months since i've been drinking lots of water. I never used to like anything that wasnt flavoured! Now I tell my son to drink it…
  • I did this exact thing last week. I had a big session on a Wednesday night that wasnt planned, i ended up with 3 hours sleep then a full day at work! The hangover lasted 2 days and on the first day I had some pretty bad things, on the second day I mostly slept and recovered that way. On the evening of the second day I went…
  • Wow, thats really cool! You've just inspired me to have that as one of my goal treats as ive always wanted to do it but knew i would be too heavy.
  • ONS - i'm not fussy, get in the van
  • I've used that and thats what I dont get (and I dont want to use the 'im different' excuse) it tells me I should be having 2100 calories as 80% TDEE. I do need to recalc since i havent tried on that calculator for the last 10-15lbs but still its basically saying im not eating enough at 1800 calories. When I upped to 2000 I…
  • I found another one for the list. My absolute favourite but you can only get in certain parts of the country: Healeys Cornish Rattler 180 calories :D
  • flop them on a scale and see! it obviously varies from person to person so there is no number anybody can tell you. I can instantly tell the weight of breasts just by holding them. Its a service I offer without charge but I havent got many customers.
  • Confidence is king. Why dont you just stroll up to one you like and tell them you're something different, unique and they'd be lucky to have you. That would at least get a laugh and break the ice :)
  • Cidre is my favourite, woohoo! Its a pity its also the most expensive :(
  • Personally I calculate my TDEE, base my eating cals on 80% of that figure and add 100 cals for each day based on the amount of cardio and strength I do in a week. I'm seeing a loss and im not worrying about logging exercise. I figure if im at a defecit with food and its enough to give me energy for the exercise and daily…
  • I'm seeing similar things happen with me. Most of the time i'm really good but last week I had a night out and ate some bad things on a few of the days. I also skipped one training session because i couldnt get childcare. I still ended up losing becuase im convinced my matabolism is now working with me instead of against!
  • I'm from Coventry. There is a uk group here do search for that for more uk buddies. Feel free to add me
  • I'd change it to 'XL Hammers your wife whilst you're writing stupid comments' That;d do it
  • As others have pretty much said.. Personally I went for walking (20 mins at a brisk pace), stationary bike and weights. Now i'm at a good cardio level where I can manage a 60 min basketball game, 30 mins of rowing or a session of P90X etc. You need to take the little steps and big diet changes to get you into a range where…
  • 2 for me today A colleague I havent seen in a few months said 'have you lost alot of weight?!' Was standing in a meeting with lots of other people, a large tv at the front of the meeting went on to standby and i caught a familiar fat guy looking back at me through the reflection in the black screen. IT WAS THE GUY STANDING…
  • Good job commander shepherd!
  • Firstly, you will be able to get to whatever body fat % you want to get to. Boobs wont stop that but they will change. Some people manage to keep theirs, for some they lose a couple of strap sizes and a cup size. There is no way to lose fat from target areas, the body decides what areas it wants to shed fat from. Dont…
  • This used to happen to me when i wore sweatbands. After a while i'd be wiping my forehead with an already wet sweatband and it irritated my face.
  • without a heartrate monitor you wouldnt accurately be able to tell unless you have similar body types with heart rate monitors doing the same workouts to tell you. P90X is fairly intense cardio and strength combined. I try to underestimate that at 400 calories as i know some of them are a few hundred more but stuff like…
  • I just work out. No music, no entertainment. It gives me time to think. I find exercise is good therapy.
  • P90X has some serious pullup routines and recommend either negatives (as you are doing) and resistance bands. There are loads of other core muscles to work on to assist you too. As you get lighter and build your strength you will tip the balance more. I'd recommend doing different types of pushups, working your back with…
