Hey that is a big one! Well done. I didnt have full control until i started logging ALL the bad with the good. Its like cheating yourself - you've made a good move there.

All of your excuses were my favourite. Now you're my favourite person today :)

I usually drink a pint of water and have a low calorie jello (some are 10kcal) which satisfies that need to eat something when it's not hunger. If it's hunger then try and balance your calories out more across the day - eat dinner later, don't have your dessert straight after dinner etc.

I and welcome. Please don't focus too much on the scales - weight loss is not linear and can do some strange things. Log your food accurately and trust the process over a long period of time and you'll meet your goals. Don't get discouraged from one week to the next :) All the best wishes to you.

A very good looking lady at work hasn't seen me in a couple of years. At the start of a meeting yesterday she introduced herself to me (we've met at least 10 times in the past). She flirted with me throughout the day (I'm married so I didn't encourage her) and this morning a co-worker of mine said this lady asked her who I…

I'm 34. It's all in your head. Your new life starts now - at first you'll want quick progress but play the long game and you will win.

On nice mild days my office plants get a holiday outdoors so they can get some quality sunlight. They have to listen to me all day so I'm sure they appreciate it.

I love yoga, riding my bike and callisthenics. GMB fitness is good for body weight and flexibility fitness.

For me one day I just wanted to be fitter. Not out of breath doing basic things, not sitting out of the parents race on my kids sports day, not missing social interactions because they were based on some kind of sport. I just didn't want to miss out and eventually it was enough to make a lasting lifestyle change and not…

Body strength excercise is very good strength training. If your body loves yoga then stick with that as your strength - always look to progress though, if you want to increase mobility and strength you've got to push yourself into the harder vinyasas or hold positions longer.

Ok I need to move my goals! Today at the gym I went to see how many I could do of these so I knew what the journey would look like. I did: 25 push ups 1:06 plank 40 squats 5 chin ups So the only one I haven't managed is the push-ups! New goals are: 60 push ups 2:00m plank 50 squats 8 chin ups 1 pull up

@BMcC9 it did take me a while to get to my first one. I got a pull-up bar in my garage and went in every day to try and do one. If I couldn't then I'd stand on a step get to the highest position and slowly lower myself down. This still builds strength in the right places. Any bicep strength training will help so doing…

thanks I think they're stretch enough to be challenging but still achievable. Going to the gym now so I'll see what my current form is.

Illnesses are rarely just one day. If you're gunna be ill in the middle of the week take the rest of the week off too. If you're off with anything to do with digestion just for one day then it's obvious you were bunking off.
-
@ChaelAZ do you have the same charts but for men? Always been interested in my frame size and ideal weight.
-
New here but I'm trying to make my way to 100 straight push-ups by the end of the year. Goals by the end of Aug: 60 push-ups 1 min planks (PoE & PoH) 40 squats 5 chin ups
-
That's perfect, thanks

I'm in the midlands. Happy to accept friend requests from other UK members.

Holy hotness 😍😍😍😍😍😍 You've done an amazing job and a big thanks to your parents for bringing you to this world 🙏🏻
-
I second the progress picture thing, you realise you never have enough of the journey. I'll also add to that - taking measurements also helps motivate, sometimes the scale doesn't move but you'll go down a pants size so you gotta take that victory!
-
Yes I did mean lean body mass! Thanks for pointing it out.
-
MFP uses a generic formula, it doesn't account for people wanting to maintain or gain muscle mass. All body building forums specify 1g per 1lb of body weight as a guide. Get in 70% of that or more and you're generally good. You can manually set your nutrition goals in MFP

I eat them whenever they're ready in that 5 minute window of being ripe. I normally find myself squeezing them daily and saying 'nope, maybe tomorrow!'. The anticipation makes them taste better :)

And so you should be proud, you've gone from ordinary looking to incredible looking! 😎
