I just got one of these, too! I've been logging 88% of my Polar FT4 HRM calorie burn since I read that it can overestimate calories as much as 12%. I log exercise, but do not always eat back all of the calories if I don't feel hungry. Hope this helps.

Heya! I've had three babies in the last four years, two of them there was only one month between them that I was not pregnant. I am still breastfeeding my youngest who just turned one year old today. Over the past 7 months I have lost over 65 lbs and gotten down below the weight I was just before I became pregnant with my…

Going for a long walk somewhere helps me. It gets me out of the house and away from easy access to my kitchen full of food. If all else fails and I still want to eat something when I get back I will have burnt some calories while I was out. Try to find fun, interesting things to do that are not really compatible with…

Get into the habit of consistently logging accurately. That is what has worked for me. Maybe start by spending a week just concentrating on logging every single thing that goes in your mouth with no pressure on yourself to do anything other than record your food intake precisely.

I am not sure if anyone will be able to help you much specifically without seeing the food diary that goes along with the weight trend other than to suggest that you not have a "black and white mentality." If you mess up it is most certainly NOT all over. If you slip up just go burn some calories to make up for it or at…

I just set my goal profile to very active to account for the extra 500 calories so I did not have to fool around with logging it. I dialed it down to the next activity level once she started eating some solid foods. Seems to be working for me as I have been losing weight pretty much as MFP predicted. Sometimes a little…

5'5" here. Heaviest weight was 220. I lost 10 of it before joining MFP just by eating cleaner and watching my portions. I've lost an additional 12 in the 5 weeks or so I've been using this site. I started taking progress pictures about a month ago and the difference is visible already. 206 vs. 199

No one else in the house drinks coffee and I don't want to fool with a coffee maker or buy coffee just for myself. Also faster than making and drinking coffee. Don't have to worry about my little children trying to steal my cup and spilling it all over. As a bonus it does not stain my teeth, I suppose. I end up getting 1 -…

I just take 100 - 200 mg of caffeine in tablet form with water most days. Works for me.

Try hard boiled eggs, perhaps? High quality protein in its own convenient package. You can boil a whole dozen or two at a time and have them in the fridge ready to grab & go.

I like to have cucumber slices soaked for 24+ hours in vinegar as a snack or part of a meal. It does seem to help suppress hunger a little but that is not why I started eating them. They're just a taste I've acquired. I would not just drink vinegar straight, however. *shudder* I had an older cousin who told me to close my…

This is wonderful! You are now past the physical addiction and any cravings are psychological after this point. I quit 204 days ago and it just keeps getting better and better! I love the freedom of not having to find a way to smoke a cigarette ever hour or so and how I don't stink like stale smoke aside form the obvious…

I am told I have nice legs. My husband is apparently a connoisseur of lady's legs. Thanks for asking.

Honey roasted peanuts and graham crackers. I was going through a package of each a day for a while.
