My goal will be not to order out. I'm not going to say I won't go out, because lot of restaurants now have healthy contious foods & they also include the nutritional fact. Ordering out is a whole different story. Not only does it effect my waist line, but is also puts a dent in my wallet. I'm going to be sure that no one…

Age: 30 Height: 5'6 CW: 283.3 GW for this challenge: 240 UGW: 165 I'm a recently married, full time mother of 2 little ones (3 & 6). I maintain a very damanding full time job with the federal government, that requires me to work overtime. It's very hard for me exercise & manage my time. I used to be at my ideal weight, but…

I couldn't add my info. The link doesn't work for me.

Hey people... Please feel free to add me. Lord knows I could use the support & I'll definitely return it.

Hello All... I'm Sharita. I'm the mother of two children, ages 3 & 6. I used to be at what I thought was my perfect weight, until I had my son. I used to eat extremely healty. I was going to the gym just about every morning. After I had him, I thought I would just bounce right back but I didn't. At that point I was at my…

I too am turning 30 this year. Unfortunately, my birthday is in less than two weeks so I really have no time to slim down before then. However, I am going to try my best.

I did not go through the same situation as you, but 2012 was also a hard year for. I lost my mother (my absolute best friend) and I took it really hard. I gained so much weight & now I'm at my highes weight ever. I definitely need support as well, because I haven't been able to stick with it. I'm not from Kansas, but feel…

Also a young mother of two (6 & 3) and I just can't seem to get it together. We can most certainly help each other. Feel free to add me.

Hi Kara... 2012 was also a rough year for me. I lost my mothers last year & have gained about 50lbs since her passing on top of already being heavy from having a child & never losing the weight. I will be 30 in 2 weeks & am at my highest weight ever. I too have 2 children (6 & 3) as well as a full time job. Its so hard for…

I agree 150%... its already getting chaotic! Lol

I couldn't have said it better myself.

I don't agree that its a must do. At one point in time I lost close to 100 lbs & never gave up alcohol and I never will. You just have to be cautious. You can actually track your alcohol intake with MFP. Simply calculate into your calories and well as anything you mix it with.
-
Correction... 2013 is OUR year
-
Thanks a lot Dave. I do agree, I have found that my MFP friends are very helpful.
-
Thanks so much for your advice Sandy.

As much as I would love a healthier alternative... I don't think that would work for someone who has actually eaten & loves cheesesteaks. It works for you, because you have nothing to compare it to. Nevertheless, I'm glad you found another options. Hopefully one of our MFP friend will try your recipe. As for me, I hate…

I couldn't agree more!

Lol.... Noooooo! That's Man vs. Food. That's not the size of a normal cheesesteak. They are most certainly not 5lbs. lol
-
I agree with you. It's not always about what you eat. It's just like the purpose of MFP. It doesn't measure what you eat, it measures your caloric intake. If you happen to have a McRib here & there, just make sure you keep it within reason. However, when you have people such as myself who need to lose so much the best way…

That's what I did when I was pregnant. I ate everything I wanted & now I can't lose the weight. I thought I would be able to, because I did it w/ my first pregnancy but I was sooooo wrong.
-
It depends on the size. Nevertheless, I seriously doubt that there's a healthier alternative. I absolutely love them, but they simply cannot be an option.

Thanks a bunch... I definitely plan on cutting out the soda A.S.A.P. Soda is no longer an option. I trying to get some walking in, but its so hard. I work a 10hr shift & its a desk job. I have to be to work at 6am, so going out in the morning isn't an option. Then I go home to 2 little ones. I'm trying now to work out a…

A Cheesesteak in the most greasy, fattening, heart attack on a roll food you'll ever eat. Its also one of the best and most satisfying foods you'll ever eat. Its chopped up steak (usually cooked on a flat top grill) w/ melted cheese on a long roll. Lots of people here get there's w/ salt, pepper, fried onions & mayo.

Thanks Sandy... that makes a lot of sense.
-
Lol... Don't do it! Cheesesteak are most certainly bad for business.

I'll be 30 in less than 2 weeks & can't get motivated to save my life. After I had my second child I just let myself go w/o even noticing (if that makes any sense). I just always thought I lose the weight like I did after my first child, but I was sadly mistaken. My son is now 3 & I'm at my highest weight ever. I too am…

Good for you... Even though we hate to hear negativity, it's sometimes what we need to get motivated.

I'm looking to lose 100+ lbs. Is anyone else embarking on that kind journey? Feel free to add me & we can do it together.
