I do quick calories since I prepare so many of my own dinners from scratch. These usually end up being my lunches the next day. I usually weigh all ingredients and then divide into equal parts.

Seitan Most beans are a good low fat/protein Green veggies. 1 cup cooked spinach has about 7 grams, green beans about 13 grams, boiled peas 9 grams. Nut butters (peanut, almond or cashew) Quinoa Sprouted grain bread (Food For Life is a good one)

I weigh my fruit & veggies. I use CalorieKing for looking up by the ounce. All liquids I measure with a measuring cup.

Did you lose a bunch of weight? Could it be loose skin?

If you have been doing exercise for all that time and are dissatisfied with the results, it could be you are not exercising for your body type. I found a combination of cardio & resistance training really made the difference for me. Try different exercise programs and find the one that works for you.

I calculate my banana by weighing on a scale. I peel it and place on the scale. Just calculate the ounce by the calories per ounce. I use Calorie King which shows it to be 25 calories an ounce.

I see the difference in your arms that look so much smaller and your legs. The met from hip to knees, now it is from hip to thigh. You are doing great!! Keep up the good work.

I suffer the same thing. Sometimes it is simply cravings and not hunger. Distinguishing the difference can be tough at times.

Yep! Once a week I eat without any real concern. 6 days a week I do really good. Keeps me from feeling deprived.

It certainly does. Many people look at fat folks as lazy, slow, undependable, sloppy etc. Fair? No. Accurate? No, but first impressions do matter.

The pasta sauce is horrible! I do like the salad dressings.

Aldi's has great canned bean prices and they carry fat-free refried beans too. I don't buy the produce as I believe it is short dated.
