Very inspirational progress! I have been thinking of doing the Shred for a while now. The more success stories I hear about it, the more I think about doing it!

That is a very cool visual. It's especially interesting to me because it seems like I'm in a very similar situation to what you did - I'm pretty tall, and I when I started I was in the low overweight range at 187 and my goal weight is just a couple pounds heavier than where you're at now! Thanks for sharing.

That's a great idea! Something you can do without having to spend money on equipment or memberships! Good luck.

You look absolutely amazing! The difference in your face is very striking.

You can add me - I need some motivation too!

Exactly. I think portion control is the key. I could never give up stuff completely (I'm still devastated that I can't have anything with coconut since developing an allergy a few years back), but I am focussing on portioning it out. I may not gorge and have 3 or 4 Oreos with a glass of chocolate milk anymore, but I will…

Everyone on here has done such an amazing job! It makes me wish I didn't erase my "before" pictures - I just couldn't believe how I looked in them. I am definitely inspired to keep on going, and to keep a visual progress of myself to be able to share later on!

I do the same thing as well. If I know I will be having a girls night that might involve a martini or two, I do extra exercise the day of, and the day after. And I have been seriously craving ice cream all day, and am considering doing an extra 20 minute walk just so I can have it! :blushing:

You are already an awesome mum by making this commitment to lose weight! Good for you! :flowerforyou: . And I'm very glad that your husband is in remission. I have recently lost two people close to me to cancer, and have definitely been struggling with emotional eating. Good luck! And feel free to add me as a friend!

This is such a great thread! I knew many pictures were photo shopped in magazines, but I didn't know to what extent! Thanks OP.
