Right now I am doing 1,300-1,900 based on activity level with most days over 1,600. I had lost on 1,200 but then stalled. I am 5'2", 46, menopausal with an extremely low resting heart rate (38-42) all excuses women use that they can not eat more. Eating that little lowered my metabolism so I would have had to gone down to…

Chicken, Tuna, eggs, frozen veggies and potatoes (not as evil as people have you think).
-
Cook chicken or fish with no oil continuing cooking adding veggies.
-
My thought too.. But I would replace the sugar with stevia so I can have the vodka calories.:drinker:

I am a famous Chinese Actress, even though I am an Anglo-Saxon American.

Squats, lunges and yoga poses.

I got a Garmin Forerunner 110 last month on sale and love it. I wanted a watch with GPS for running and hiking as well as a chest strap HRM that can be used indoors too. I now forget I am wearing the strap. You need to make a list of the top features you want and how much you are able to spend.

You can add weights to what you are doing. For walking and aerobic class you can wear ankle and/or wrist weights. Also can do squats while with the dogs adding a few minutes of doing push-ups too. I know you have been trying but just need to make sure you get enough protein to stay strong.

How sure are you of the 1,000? You may want to even it out and eat like 1,700 a day whether you exercise or not and see what you lose after 2-4 weeks and adjust up or down from there.

Yes that is more than OK. My first was 40:10, my second was 34:58. I am hoping to get down to 30 by my third.

Sorry but my grand-daughters name is Weber and is NOT WEE.like PEE.

What???:noway: Perhaps if you were over 300 then 5 a week would be fine but sorry that ain't happening at 170. If you just started then you can lose 5 pounds in the first week then it will be 1-2. And then if you do not increase your calories your weight loss will stall and then you will gain weight back or have to eat…

He wants to fatten you up you do not weigh very much and need to gain weight. To gain muscle you need to eat at a surplus.

Cottage cheese or Greek Yogurt and berries if wanting something really fast. But I eat late almost everynight and cook something like meat/fish with veggies.
-
You are just learning. Looking at your diary your protein is way low and you need to drink more. To add a high protein snack would be fine you will not gain more weight with another 100-200 calories. Get some cottage cheese or Greek yogurt.

My issue with myself is in pictures. I feel cute wearing something look in the mirror and think I look ok then I take a picture and it shows how fat I still am. I got a front view camera and looked in the mirror and at the camera and can see my double chin in the camera but not in the mirror. I like my profile pic because…

Drink lots of water it does take time, or just slowly ween yourself down. If you reallly want to ditch all caffeine watch out for headache meds some contain caffeine read the labels.

^^This^^ But I will have bacon, eggs, potatoes, pancakes, etc for lunch or dinner.

I am not sure if starting heart rate matters but those numbers do not sound too high. You are really working hard part of the time.
-
I wish I had this problem. I am the opposite my resting heart rate is 38-42. The watch does give you total carlories which includes your BMR so you need to subtract that out when getting your exercise. Also the watches go by arm movement so the more you move your arms the higher the calorie burn.

How much weight have you lost doing low carb? I eat sandwiches or have soup, rarely eat salads. My low carb co-workers are at a loss as to why I have lost more weight than them eating carbs. But if you want to ditch the bread off the chicken you could just grill it. I have stir-fry without oil with meat or fish and just…

Potatoes, cheap, filing and they are good on protein, fiber and potassium.
-
I do because they are worth 99 cals if I take them all. I do gummies because I can't handle some pills also do oils (fish, flax, etc) for joints so the cals add up. I also want to see that I am not under iron and calcium.
-
But if you went from low carb to lots of carbs you will gain water weight. You trained your body not to process them. You need to slowly add carbs. I have never gone low carb and lose just fine with them.

My Cocker just did a 5K with me. We walk and/or run twice daily.

Salads can have far more calories than cheeseburgers. Maybe she only eats once a day, who knows?

Just what I was thinking. Fiber is the best part of fruit and veggies and you lose that with juicers
