Hi, I have seen studies that show you can actually lose weight by keeping calories under control, regardless of the sugar content. Hi Im 50 and I was /am worried about that as well. However, at this point I have lost just over 40 lbs with more to go and i dont really see alot of loose skin.

I pulled a top out of my closet this morning that I havent worn in probably 3 years! I was so excited, and when I got into work, a co-worker complimented me on my sweater! Major NSV :smile:

Also, shoot for lower carbs, and higher protien, protien keeps you fuller longer. Nuts are great, greek yogurt is super. I try to cut out as much bread as poissible that seems to be where my problem area is.

the big thing to remember is that each day is a new day, so you mess up one day, just dont let that discourage you. take baby steps, know that you will get there. Just build a calorie deficit and it will come off. :smooched:
