We put flax in about everything. We buy them in bulk and have a coffee grinder specifically for this purpose. We also have four daughters who have no idea they consume flax on a regular basis. I don't have an answer as I had mine done the same day you posted but am interested on the surgery's impact on future weight loss. I also only have one ovary now and was wondering if that has caused you any hormonal issues?

Oh my! I had a lavh and one tube and ovary removed 2 weeks ago today. I cannot imagine doing any cardio! If I walk too much it hurts and I am trying hard to keep taking it easy. I know it is difficult but a must to fully recover! Glad your doc said you were ok!

I really needed to see this. I have been getting very frustrated...the harder I work out...the more I eat to correct lows. Often I end up eating more to fix low bs than I burned in my workout. Ugh!

I've been T1 for 10 years on Novalog and Levemir shots...I didn't like the pump. Exercise definitely helps to lose the weight and lowers blood sugar...but sometimes too much which ends up with me having to eat to bring it back up. Then I feel as though it is defeating the purpose!
