I'm from Canada but I really like Clarks shoes. The Wave. I think Clarks originated in the UK? It has a really nice arch support and its a walking shoe as opposed to trainers.

I have always had to watch my weight. I did a good job. Then life and kids got in the way. Always ate healthy but my portions were out there. I was never aware of exactly what a proper portion was.

I think that the strangest comment is the "non" comment. Everyone has noticed that I lost 28lbs. Not one comment from my husband. My parents even commented in front of him and still no comment. Nothing. My daughter even said mom you have to start buying pants that fit lol. Still not a word. Strange....

I tend to gain weight when I get white carbs. I stay away from bread, pasta rice, potatoes and all processed stuff like cakes, cookies crackers etc. My doctor once told me that if you get off the white stuff you can lose 20lbs in a month just cutting out that stuff.

Try to keep your portions smaller. For me it is always about the portions. After being on MFP for 7 months I now know what a portion of steak should be.

After dinner I would grab a couple of kids and go for a walk or to the park and play. I think that if we get up off the couch and move after dinner you will notice an improvement. That worked for me. I found this one a little difficult. What I have been doing now is eating in a 6 hour window and fasting around it. For example I don't eat after 7pm and I don't eat again until 1pm. I have lunch at 1:00 and then dinner at 6pm. Rarely do I eat anything from after 6:00 but I keep the window at 7pm just in case. I have found…

Nothing wrong with one meal a day. Alot of the fasts are like that. I would eat my meal earlier in the day tho. Like lunch or in between lunch and dinner.

Yup, I switch it up. Just started 5:2 IF. I fast for 2 days per week and the other 5 days I have increased my calories from 1200 to 1300. On my fast days I eat 500 calories. This IF is good for the body and brain.

For me what helped was staying away from my cigarette "triggers". I stopped drinking alcohol. I had my morning coffee in a different place in the house. I stayed away from friends who smoked. Not sure what to say. I have no medical conditions but menopause is almost at my doorstep. Lately I have hit some kind of plateau. Exercising every day and sticking to my 1200 calories per day. Sometimes I go up a half pound then down again but in the end its still the same. It can only get better from here :)
