Thanks for the information everyone! I checked with my boss today and they're able to help me out with work benefits. Hopefully I should be able to get checked earlier than September but until then I'll take everyones advice and log as accurately as possible! Thanks again everyone!!

I'm eating 1300 a day and I religiously measure my foods and alway slightly over estimate my calores to be safe. I eat back most of my exercise calories (eat back 500 cals from a 700 cal workout). I'm going in for thyroid testing Monday so that may help.

I also have this problem. I don't like to spend a ton on sports bras so I just wear two sport bras. It's much more comfortable than wearing a regular bra and a sports bra. I just use the cheap, 3 pack sports bras from walmart! They're only like, 13 dollars!

I also take citalopram and gained weight... But certainly NOT from the medication. I've managed to maintain my weight and lose weight while on citalopram. I just have horrible will power and eat everything in sight.

The exact same thing just happened to me. I lost 8.2 pounds my first week and didnt lose any this week. Don't be discouraged though. The first few weeks your weight will fluctuate a lot. I ate an entire bag of pistachios last week. It was over 1000 calories in that bag. I hated myself the next day but how down I felt made me realize binging isnt worth the guilt haha.

Thanks so much guys. I've been really stressed that I was doing this whole weight loss thing wrong. I definitely make sure I'm eating healthy so I think for now I'll stick with counting calories and once I get used to that I'll start paying more attention to macros. :)

That's part of why I'm not overly concerned about eating back my calories because I figure I'm probably eating more than I log. Thanks for the detailed response, I'll definitely be focused more on eating healthy rather than low calorie!

Thanks for all the tips guys! I think I'll try to do 2-3 cardio workouts at the gym each week and maybe 2 swim workouts to make sure I'm getting some variety. I'll also be doing strength training in there of course. Thanks again!
