Hypothyroidism or laziness?
Hello everyone! I'm recently back on MFP again after many failed attempts at losing weight. Every time I make a weight loss goal I always end up giving up after seeing no results. Recently my doctor recommended I get my blood checked for hypothyroidism after complaining to her I was feeling depressed. My problem is my…

What am I doing wrong?
So I started my fitness journey about 3 weeks ago. I've been at or under my calorie deficit everyday, I've been to the gym three-four times a week, and I've been drinking loads of water. In the first week I lost 3 pounds, awesome. In the last two weeks I've gained the three pounds back and can't seem to lose any weight. Is…

Macros vs Calorie Counting for weight loss
Hey everyone, Sorry if this has been asked already. For the last few weeks I have been counting my calories very strictly. Recently I was told that I should be using the macro method instead. My goal is to lose around 70 pounds and I find it much easier to just count calories and make sure I'm eating healthy and…

Am I under eating??
So mfp says I should eat 1200 cals a day, and I always do, but I also exercise and burn around 700 calories. I find it hard to eat all of them back so I usually eat around 200 of them back. This puts me at 1400 but my net calories is only around 600. Am I under eating? Do I really have to net 1200?

Polar ft4 accuracy?
Okay so today I went for a walk and my polar ft4 says I burned 435 calories. This would be great but I was only walking for 37 minutes. I am pretty unfit, weighing around 200 pounds and only just starting to work out. But isn't this a little high? I believe my heart rate was up for most of my walk but I didn't feel super…

Swimming Question???!!!
So im kinda just a beginner when it comes to working out and I find that when I go to the gym I get tired really quick (and im talking 5 minutes walking on the treadmill) so then I get discouraged and end up not wanting to go back. So i'm wondering if anyone knows if it would be a good idea to start swimming to burn fat…
