  • Hope it gets resolved soon
  • 5 ft 7 and 130 lb is fabulous, no way you need to lose weight. Sorry but your BF needs to shut up !!!!
  • Input manually
  • Go with MFP. If you burn 500 calories on the up, MFP will show less as it calculates it assuming you burn at the same rate all day (I can't explain it too well!) but if you go with MFP it will be more accurate. So... If you burn 500 calories on the up, MFP might only show 200 or 300. Ps had my up for 15 months and still…
  • Mine started doing the same thing. The step goal is correct, which is the main thing, but it doesn't show the whole day, it just shows about an hour. I think it's something at their end and hopefully there'll be an app update soon. As long as it confirms the steps for the day and the calories then I'm not worried about it
  • Basically this !!! If you want a treat, eat less the rest of the day and exercise. That's what I do and it definitely works :-)
  • Definitely use it, you will get so many ideas, apparently after you have done a specific routine 12 times you need to change to a new one, so the more ideas you can get from your trainer the better.
  • The best thing you can do is book a trainer, even if its just for 1 session. My trainer gave me my first routine or I wouldn't know what to do. He told me that free weights are better than the machine weights, plus you burn more fat if you do cardio, then weights, then cardio again. I suppose different trainers will teach…

  • It's what gets me through the exercise. Slayer, LoG, COF, Slipknot, Kataklysm. I could go on all day :-)
  • You can eat back your calories from exercise. If you set it at 1400 to lose weight, then burn 400 with exercise then you can eat the 400 if you want to. I have always done this and lost weight easily ,it's when I stop counting altogether that I put weight on). If you exercise a lot but don't eat enough then it won't work…
  • Hi, if anyone wants to add me, it's Sharon Barton My aim, from 6th Jan is to do some weight training and hopefully 10000 steps per day, and would like some people to 'compete' with
  • Hi, I got one for Xmas and I love it. I'll try and add you (I have no team mates yet so I'm not sure how to add anyone but I'll give it a go). I haven't done any exercise since Xmas but from 6th Jan I'm going to start some weight training and aim to do 10000 steps per day. Right, I'll try and add you now !!
  • I have a Jawbone Up which does the same thing (I've only had it since Xmas so I'm no expert). I presume it works the same as a fitbit. Yesterday I didn't do much. My Jawbone said I'd burned something like 150 calories (active burn, not resting burn), but based on my initial allowance for the day from MFP it worked out that…
