  • I'm a little behind in reading posts, so I'm jumping to the end to post my run for today but I'll come back later and read everything I've missed. 5.4 mile run in today. Planned for 5 miles but misjudged where I should turn around so I was about 3/4 of a mile from home when I hit 5 miles. So I decided to run up to the next…
  • Today I went on my 2 mile run as scheduled...even though it was raining...
  • Effexor is a SNRI - Serotonin and Norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor Wellbutrin is a DNRI - Dopamine and Norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor So if it helps, technically they are not in the same class but they do have one thing in common :)
  • Yay! Congrats!
  • Forgot to post my run yesterday. Just a slow and steady 2 mile run, but it felt good and the temp was a little lower which was nice. Back up today so glad today is a rest day. It's supposed to rain tomorrow so I'm hoping that will bring it back down and I can run outside without it being too warm. Not sure I will hit my…
  • SW: 165.8 - some is water weight, I was 164 a few days prior Week 1: 163.8 - lost the water weight and maybe a little bit of actual weight
  • I count anything where the main ingredient is water. I love my soda stream and drink lots of sparkling water :)
  • 6.2 miles today. Started out a little rough but after the first mile it felt better. I was planning for 6 miles, but then at the end threw in the 0.2 so I could say I did a 10k :) Afterwards I was looking at my pace for each mile and found out I ran just under 12 min/mile for miles 3 and 4. My overall pace was 12:33 which…
  • Today I went over my maintenance calories by about 150 calories :/ Tomorrow is a new day and will be better :)
  • I haven't heard of that one, but it sounds good :)
  • Did your doc tell you to get the blood tests on a certain day in relation to your menstrual cycle? If so, that's why you're getting more tests - because doing those blood tests at a specific point in your cycle helps them rule in/out certain medical issues (like the one everyone else is busy arguing over, PCOS). I just…
  • Welcome :) Are you doing the couch to 5k running program? If not, it's a time based program with a walk/run cycle. I found it helpful a couple of years ago when I was first getting back into running after taking several years off.
  • Happy Birthday! Hope it was a great one  Yay for completing your race! B)
  • (This is for yesterday) Today I got up early enough to run before it got too hot/humid. And I did grocery shopping for lunches for the week so I won't go out for lunch. I got so many steps on my Fitbit I got to have a little bit of a larger dinner :)
  • MFP start 178 Current weight as of 9/13 165.8
  • @sooz1962 - congrats! Awesome achievement!
  • 9/7 - 2 miles in heat/humidity 9/9 - 2 miles, cooler but raining 9/11 - 2 miles on the treadmill 9/13 - 5 miles, a little warm but not too bad weather I tried out using the strava app for the first time today. Trying to decide if I want to do the premium or not. So far I like the app and I'm not sure there's much in…
  • I do this too :) Salsa makes a great low cal/high flavor salad dressing
  • 9/7 - 2 miles in heat/humidity 9/9 - 2 miles, cooler but raining 9/11 - 2 miles on the treadmill Couldn't run outside today so I was thinking about skipping today's run since it would be on the treadmill. Then someone pissed me off at work - gave me some extra motivation to get my run in today, even if on the treadmill ;)
  • Awesome! Great job
  • Thanks! I'll look into it :)
  • I didn't think about it not being able to connect to more than one thing at once. I'm not the most tech savvy person, ;) I tend to think things just work magically :o 9/07 - 2 miles in heat and humidity 9/09 - got 2 miles in. Positive note, it was cooler; negative note, it was cooler because it was raining :) I don't mind…
  • Are there any HRMs out there that connect to a watch via bluetooth? I use digifit on my phone during my runs and I have a HRM that's a chest strap only and connects with digifit via bluetooth. The problem is that I can't wear my phone on my arm because it rubs and causes injury so I use one of those belt-type things that…
  • Living in Japan means it's Wednesday for me, so Happy Birthday! :) Now you definitely have an excuse for having at least 2 birthday days ;)
  • MFP start: 178.0 Week 2: 171.6 (started a week late) Week 3: 170.0 Week 4: 169.2 Week 5: 169.2 Week 6: 175.8 (gained water weight) Week 7/8: somewhere between 167.2 and 175 Week 9: 167.2 Week 10: 166.4 Didn't hit my goal of 162, but I lost weight so it's a win in my book :) Looking forward to continuing to work with you…
  • 9/07 - 2 miles in 72 degrees but 88% humidity. Slow and steady until I get used to this humidity. I've been gone most of the summer so this is the first I've had to deal with it. Goal: 40 miles 38 miles to go :)
  • Congrats! It's a great feeling after the first of any distance but especially half-marathons (coming from someone who's longest race to date has been a half :) ) @AlexPaige - if it's always the same car/person I think I would start getting creeped out and start memorizing the license plate and tell someone else. Be safe…
  • I'm so sorry! :/
  • Thank you for all the info! Definitely something I will look over and I have more to learn about. I'm only running about 10 miles per week right now. I have a training plan for a 27k that I was going to do in Nov but the race was cancelled. I was going to start that training plan on Monday. It was developed by a friend of…
  • So lately I've really enjoyed that my uniform feels looser :) Not to the point of needing a smaller size, but the belt doesn't "catch" on my belly anymore haha. It can be nice to have something to mark progress other than the scale :D
