I used to have a fit bit zip but have recently bought a fitbit charge 2 and am very happy with it. It does all you said you wanted and I use it as a watch as you can choose what style clock face you want.

I gave up coke not due to the sweeteners/sugar but because of the caffeine as I suffered terrible migraines. I have also given up tea and coffee. It was hard at first due to withdrawal systems but haven't had a drink of it for about 3 years. Even after all that time I sometimes crave a coke but resist and have water…

I have just started today on a low carb high fat/protein way of eating. Its a bit scary as like you it has always been low fat etc. I have a friend who has been eating this way since January and she feeling the benifits from it as well as loosing weight.

Why do you need the slim fast on the 5:2 diet. My husband and I are eating the 5:2 way and we don't have any false foods these shake things. You can eat good normal foods on the fast days just stick to 600 cals for men and 500 for women. Then I eat my calculated MFP calories the other days.

Like the others I drink plenty of water through the day then eat the 500 calories at night so I don't feel hungry when I want to sleep. On the other days I try to eat around 1500 calories.

Thank you all so much for all your advice, I am feeling a lot better now on what I am doing. If I add the calories I burn at the gym it does probably come to around 1660 when add to my 1490 cals. I don't add the calories burnt doing weights only the cardio ones. I

Thanks all for replying to me, I weigh everything and fill in my diet log, even when my husband cooks he weighs it all as he is trying to loose weight too. On holiday I try to eat healthy but have slipped a couple of times hence the 3lb gain this week. I have lost weight on the 1490 calories, and when I do exercise I try…

Thank you for your help. I have another 50lbs to go and was worried that if MFP keeps reducing the calories with every 10lb I loose i would be well under 1200 cals a day which I think is a bit low.
-
I want to loose weight and hope to get below the 200lb mark.

I had one about 15 years ago and never again. My periods stopped completley and I had all the symptoms of being pregnant, enlarged bust, morning sickness. I had several pregnancy tests all negative but the symptoms persisted. After a year of suffering my GP took it out. It was another year before I began to feel better,…

Well I have just done it again and it has come up 1470 calories. You have to remember that since I have started this my original calories it set at 1570, when I had lost 10lb MFP reduced it and again with another 10lb resultoing in now 1470. If you put it in as a new mwmber it will give you a higher calorie and reduce it…

Yes that was for 1lb a week loss

I exercise 3-4 days a week.

Thank you both for your advice. I weigh and measure everything that I eat and log it down. Even when my husband cooks he always weighs everything. I got the 1480 from the MFP. It started at 1580 but as I lost weight they automatically reduced it. I have just changed the setting from no exercise which I was when I stared my…
