Just joined the gym
Hi everyone I took the plunge and joined a gym today. I know I will feel abit self conciencious but hey I'm there for me and no one else. What I want to know is how do I calculate how many calories I will burn during a work out so I can log them on MFP. My first gym induction and programme starts on Friday so wish me luck.

MFP and fitbit exercise
I know that my fitbit zip adds the calories to MFP when i have been walking, but what about gardening etc. Do I just let the fitbit do it or should i add these kind of exercises to MFP myself s it gives me the calories. I am getting confused, so would be gratful for any advice/help.

I have just done 25 minutes on my ellipical trainer varying the speed. (the best i have done so far) my trainer says i have burnt 178calories.
