  • Just realised that 25 pounds is only 11 kilos which is the low end of those who have a healthy BMI.. not that I am in the group!! haha 5-9kgs for me 11-19 pounds. I am exercising daily now so I am looking forward to seeing what the scales say this Friday, I had a eating blow out prior to this as staying at a friend house.

  • I have a BMI of 33 so 'obese', 6ft tall and started at 113kg (249.1 pounds) I have been logging my food since after christmas and have it at over 2000 calories which I will increase in my third trimester. Trying to exercise daily note the word trying... My aim is to not get over 120kgs (7kg or 15 pound gain) which as I am…
  • I need to learn how to say 'no' as easy as that.. Sounds easy but it isn't is it! I practice and prepare yet still get caught, so a first step is to say let me think about it and get back to you. K
  • I personally wouldn't to your plan as you will be stripping your body of nutrients and it only loses water weight, well does for me when I get gastro. Why don't you not weigh yourself for another week so give yourself a week to work off the food you eat today and get moving.
  • Don't sabotage yourself over the inability to get a date.. Losing weight is not a miracle pill to get lots of dates, funny enough I get just as many fat as I do skinny! You need to do this for you, you are gorgeous and you have to believe it. Once you are positive about yourself, doing things you enjoy going out with a big…

  • I thought it was just me. We have parquetry tiles laid over concrete so today I took my yoga mat outside and it still hurt.... I think if I looked in the mirror I would find a bruised coccyx from doing sit ups with a yoga mat on my floor.
  • I am just under 6ft and I have my daily calories at 1410 however I eat back my exercise calories, this seems to motivate me to work out. Also I have it set at sedentary as I basically sit on my backside all day! I find that setting it at the MFP assigned for my first month (2lb a week) has worked for me however I can see…
  • Regarding the sleep issue, try sleeping in separate beds if he is working late. I find that when we do that I sleep through uninterrupted and I don't wake him when I am ready to get up.
  • I know how work can get in the way. My one suggestion is that I assume your shifts are planned so you could plan your food ahead so even if you don't get to the workout you have eaten right. The only person who can get you motivated is you... but I am here if you need support or humour!
  • I know the feeling, I find that once my periods are over that I weigh less, for me it can be 1-2 kilos so 2-4 pounds from the water retention. I also feel best the 2 days after they have finished and have the least bloated stomach.
  • I actually think there is less pressure.. Yes I am not that cute little woman but I find because of my height (please note I am currently very overweight!!!) that you get away with it more. When I tell people what size I am they can't believe it. Maybe it depends on your shape, even though I am overweight I am all in…
