When the Dr says your urine should be clear, he means you should be able to see through it. It should have a little yellow tint to it but should be clear not cloudy. If your urine looks like water your body is getting abit too much and is just flushing it before it even uses it.

A "cup" of something will always weigh something different depending on what you are weighing. One cup of water however is 8oz. But fluid ounces are different than regular ounces. Im pretty sure coffee counts as a negative glass of water because it is a diuretic and causes you to flush water. I always add a cup of water to my day if Ive had coffee. And its 8 cups not 8 glasses as most assume. One glass is about 2 cups I keep a glass of water by me and drink all day.

If you eat alot of salt, you need to drink alot of water.Yeah I know what ur thinking. But drinking plenty of water will help flush the body and you will retain less water. Weird I know but it works. :wink:

I made beef with broccoli last night. It was sooo good. I used thin cut top sirloin cut into 1 X 1 1/2 pieces. Are you trying to eat frozen veggies?? They always seem to soggy to me. Try making FRESH veggies. They are supposed to be crisp and colorful not mushy and dull. lol I used to overcook veggies all the time. Yuck. Make sure to use a steam basket too. They make the best veggies and dont over-cook. I like the fiber one bars way better than the curves ones too!! Oats and chocolate is my fav! Curves bars just arent chewy enough and the fiber bars cure my chocolate craving fast! Not to mention theyre like twice as big! :blushing:

Ive been doing Optima for two weeks now. I just have one for breakfast and then a banana or yogurt a few hours later. I try not to go too long with out a little something. Does anyone know if the nutritional value in the database for ground beef is "as is" or is it for after you drain all the fat out. I know from experience that little dogs tend to feel really defensive around little children (kids can be really high strung and little dogs get squashed) Their only real defense is to bite and nip. I add 500 calories to account for breastfeeding but i add it to my daily allowance. You can do so by going to Home then goals, change goals, custom, and add it to calories. Thats what I am doing. I just finished my first week and Ive already lost 8 lbs!!!! So it must be working! Good Luck:wink:

I had the same problem. I found out a few days ago that you can adjust how you consume your calories. I was going over on protein so i adjusted mine from 55% carbs, 15%protein and 30% fat to 55%carbs 20%protein and 25% fat and it seems to be just the right amount. Thanks you guys!! I think I got it figured out. I adjusted to 55 c, 20f, and 25p and it seems to be just right. Just changing it by 5% made such a difference so now im not worried about it!

It seems that everyday ive been going over on my protein. MFP says I am allowed 64g. If I have a chicken breast (no skin) for dinner, thats all the protein I can have for the day. That just doesnt seem right. What to do??
