I agree that it is NOT one size fits all. BUT, just because you're only 5' tall doesn't mean you should eat 1200 calories. I'm only 5' tall and I eat 1650. I just think if you CAN eat more and still lose weight, then why wouldn't you?

I think Silk almond milk is gross. Try Earth's Own Almond Fresh unsweetened. It's soooooooooo much better! It's not thick like silk.

I usually do 3 days of strength. I do 5 minutes on my rower (the good fan belt one) to warm up. Is that ok? My hubby said when he was using a training he did 500m on the rower to warm up. I do more than that.

Well I need to lose about 20 lbs and I would like to have an athletic build. I usually work out 6 times a week. And each day I usually work out once in the morning for about 30 minutes and then again after lunch or at night for another 30 minutes. I LOVE my smoothie that I have for breakfast. It`s 1 cup of almond milk, 1 scoop vanilla whey iso burst, 0.5 cups of cottage cheese (and I don`t like that enough to eat on it`s own, but it`s awesome in a shake) and a banana. Yum! Can`t wait to drink it in the morning.

I got sucked into being a sales rep about a year ago. So take it from me....don`t waste your money! Make your own meal replacement shake with ingredients from your home. Does the same thing but doesn`t cost you a fortune!

I mostly just want to know if I should be eating back calories I burn or if I should just be staying at close to 1650 as possible no matter how many calories I burn. And I really appreciate your suggestions! So thank you in advance.

Ok, I did. And as I look back I see that I didn't follow the 1650 as well as I thought. There was a few days where I ate some exercise calories back. I'm a little embarrassed that I thought I was doing better than I actually am. I'm not that bad, am I?

I just bought a heart rate monitor (watch) on ebay for $6.22 including shipping. No idea if it will work well or not but I thought I'd try it out. Until it arrives, I'm estimating my calories burned at 200.

I did C25K and it WORKED! I went from hardly being able to run for 2 minutes to being able to run for 30 mins in about 9 weeks.

Thanks, I'll try it out! Right now I'm using 5 lbs weights. I do 3 sets of 20 reps and depending on the exercise sometimes it burns throughout the last set. So I'm not sure how much I should be lifting. Should I be struggling to finish? Or do I just need to feel the burn through it all.

I'm really lucky to have it :) My husband NEEDED all of it and hasn't touched it yet. We've had it for 4 years. Ha! My goal is to lose 20lbs and get toned. I like seeing the muscle definition that I have so far in my arms and would like to see it everywhere else. I would like to be strong too.

I know how you feel. I only have about 20lbs to lose but I've been trying to lose it for 2 years. I always start eating healthy and working out, I lose 4 or 5lbs and then I lose control and gain it back. I know that's not a lot of weight but it's still frustrating.
