Have you checked out the stickies at the top? I think this one may answer your question... http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/680246-tdee-bmr-what-they-are-and-what-to-do-with-them What most people do (I think) is to enter their calorie burn as 1 no matter what their HRM or other things say they've burned. That way it…

bumping as I will be trying these this weekend. I like that 6 = a serving. :)

I agree that your first step should be to see your doctor. Binging and purging can have horrible effects on your body, depending on what kind of purging you're doing. Some antidepressants can help with the urges and good supportive counseling can be life changing. You absolutely don't have to live this way. i've been there…

Another one merely eavesdropping - if I reply to this topic it reminds me to come back and check in again (aka "rubbernecking"). Hugs to the OP...

I don't like cottage cheese, but will eat it mixed in with Greek yogurt (good dose of protein there). Tuna fish is also a new recent fave - high protein and low calories. I hardboil a huge mess of eggs and keep them in the fridge, and will eat 6-8 chopped up egg whites at a time (with a little butter and salt, or mayo and…

Alright, fine, no sleeping in for me tomorrow morning!!! I am officially inspired now. Thanks ladies. I bow to your awesomeness and your fiercesome abs. :)

I do loves me some Oreos when I'm stressed out! Must be the peasant in me...

Could you maybe open your food diary? It may help in giving feedback. :)
-
Good point Gigi. I checked out your food diary and your daily calories are all over the place. And it looks like you're almost never hitting your protein macros. Are you logging *everything*? Are you weighing all your food? From all the posts I've lurked on (and learned from) and personal experience, the first place to…

I too wonder if your TDEE is correct. I'm still figuring this process out too and haven't quite figured out the magic # at which the scale starts to go down. I invested in a BMF and realized from the beginning that I was much less active on a daily basis than I'd initially given myself credit for. Wearing the BMF each day…

Very very awesome. You are the poster child for how to do things the proper way - slowly, listening to your body, enjoying the process, enjoying the success. Yay you!!! You forgot to add "leap tall buildings" to the list of things you're aiming to do as you continue on this journey. ;)

Bumping because this gives me hope!

tagging to read later

bumping so I can come back to this later. This is pure awesomeness. Thank you OP!

Awesome! Thanks so much for posting. I really needed this!

bumping to follow...

I wonder how many calories this would burn. Do you think it would count as cardio or strength training?
-
bumping to follow... I'm in the same boat...

Glad you've got an appointment set up and answers to come. My chiro did x-rays too but they didn't pick up my two herniated discs. It took an MRI to see them...

Not sure how others do it or if there is a specific way to do it... I have my set calorie goal that I'm trying to hit on a daily basis. I view my BMF data as interesting, but haven't applied any of it to anything yet. I've only had mine 2 weeks, so hopefully others who've had their longer will weigh in...

I'm not going to speculate on what's wrong. I just wanted to de-lurk and say that this must be incredibly frustrating as well as a touch scary to be going through this. It's no fun when you know something is wrong, but no one can tell you what it is. Hopefully you can get some answers soon. And make sure you update us...
-
Amazing! Thank you so much for sharing. This is just the motivation I needed this morning. :) Can't wait to hear more updates!

I love the yogitoes stuff. I have one of these skidless towels that I place on top of my yoga mat (I have a cheap one and a pricey one). It's perfect for what you're looking for... http://yogitoes.com/ryoga-collection/storm-rskidless-138

Maybe you're reading this all wrong. TOM sounds like he means well, but you know, he has a penis and all that. Creatures with penises just can't seem to understand how hard it is to be a woman, the centuries of oppression, what it's like to battle raging hormones all month long, hormones that render us powerless and unable…

Here's a nice breakdown of it http://www.t-nation.com/free_online_article/most_recent/breaking_down_the_pistol_squat You've inspired me to play around with this some more. I love single leg stuff! I can do it but not many, and it's not always purty.

Absolutely you need a good bra. And absolutely it's worth it to pay a little more. I get most of my running bras from the Title Nine catalog. I read the reviews and go from there. I also highly recommend Road Runner sports for bras and gear. I'm not quite as blessed as you, but I prefer compression bras. I don't like…

clarifying - it's not stupid to do 1200 + exercise calories. It's stupid that I was thinking 1200 was my own personal goal as decided by lots of little elves working at MFP who did hundreds of calculations and then came up with a magic number that was my very own. ;)

Love this. Loved it the first time. Will love it more if you post it again as you continue to sculpt yourself. You rock. :flowerforyou:
