I have a full home setup which includes a smith/squat rack with multi position bench, olympic bar w/ plates, a pull up/dip station, and treadmill, but I have much better workouts when I go to the gym. When I workout from home there are way more distractions and I feel like I rush through things and take short cuts. When I…

Don't forget to put it in the microwave for 15-20 seconds and enjoy with an ice cold glass of skim milk!

I love Optimum Nutrition Coffee and Mocha Cappuccino flavors! I get plenty of real food, but I really enjoy having a protein iced coffee to start the day.

I started with 3 options, but now have so many more to choose from. Shakeology Body By Vi Advocare 24 Day Challenge Body by DeluxMary2000 - Having someone to slap food out of my hands for only $10,000/week sounds like a really good deal. Nigerian Prince - Sending $5000 is cheaper than $10,000/week, but no promise of weight…

Is your gym a "judgement free zone" and does it look like Barney the dinosaur decorated? :)

I've taken several pre-workout boosters, and have had the most success with C4. I usually take it for 2-3 months and cycle off for a month. http://reviews.bodybuilding.com/Cellucor/C4_Extreme/ http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/cellucor/c4-extreme.html For the month that I am not taking it, I use a combination of Beta…

That is freaking hilarious! Reminds me of the Jim Gaffigan "Hot Pockets" routine, "Good morning...you're about to call in sick...HOT POCKETS!"

The first thing that comes to mind is "Fit Mom", Maria Kang’s "What's Your Excuse" photos. I thought her transformation was pretty incredible and would be inspiring for many women. What really surprised me was the amount of women who were insulted by her pictures and motto, and the number of negative comments by people who…

I've had some of the same issues as you have when it comes to free weight squatting. My form still isn't perfect, but I've come a long way while using these methods. 1. Foam rolling - A majority of my inability to perform proper squat form came from a lack of flexibility in my hips and ankles. I spend a few minutes during…

Don't most people do crossfit so they can brag about doing crossfit to other people? http://liferxd.files.wordpress.com/2013/12/memecrossfit.jpg

Optimim Nutrition Mocha Cappuccino is also tasty. Better to get it online from BB.com but lately it seems GNC is coming way down in price to try and compete with online sellers.

^^^ It's all in what you eat (or don't eat). Cals in vs cals out.

Quest bars are awesome after warming them in the microwave for 15-20 seconds.

Ah, that makes more sense. Agree there. Start slow and build your way up to something as intense as Insanity.
-
Have to disagree with you there. You can gain endurance and lose weight by doing Insanity (or any of the trendy workout video programs) if you stay in a caloric deficit. If you gained muscle mass on Insanity, then it had more to do with your diet than the actual Insanity workouts.
-
Weight loss is a marathon, not a sprint. You weight loss has more to do with your diet (staying in a caloric deficit by TRACKING YOUR MACROS) than it has to do with how much you exercise. Before you start going crazy by working out twice a day, make sure your diet is in order.
-
I honestly believe that over training definitely stalls recovery. Working out is equivalent to digging a hole and your recovery is the equivalent to filling that hole back up. If you continue to dig the hole deeper and deeper, you're going to have a very hard time filling it back up. About 1.5 yrs ago, I changed my lifts…
