If sugar were oh so toxic, I'm sure we'd all be very ill in some form or other.

Thanks so much! :)

Maybe every 6 months. Been awhile since I last did any!
-
Thanks, everyone. I don't track food on a regular basis but when I have, I do eat it back.

BUTTER. Read somewhere that margarine is only 1 molecule away from the plastic container it comes in. If you're gonna eat margarine, you may as well eat the container as well! So yeah, butter is best.

I've always wondered about "fat burning" foods.
-
Quebecers aren't Canadians. They prefer to be "indepenent".

Got belly fat? Killer Abs targets that! I've just finished week 4 of Killer Abs. Did level 1 for 3 weeks and just did level 2 this week. Has some pretty whacky moves in there but it's something to learn and build up on. I don't like such predictable workouts. This one is definitely a challenge and worth looking into!

I'm 5' 1" my goal weight is 120 or less. 7 stubborn pounds to go! Mostly in my belly, too.
-
I've wondered about Insanity, too. I see it in Walmart and it's pretty costly. I realize there's quite the bundle in there so it must be worth it..... right?

Great progress! I agree, toss the scale. Nothing but trouble.

Warm lemon water.

I love coconut oil! Crisco is nasty stuff and I would be very careful about consuming that.

Thank you!

good things grow in Ontario!! :)

98 pounds was my lowest weight and 4' 11" when I was first married. Highest weight was 140 pounds being 9 months pregnant but I also stretched up to 5' 1"! Right now I hover between 125-130 pounds and my goal is to at least get down to 120 or less. Sure is hard work!

I'm on my 2nd go round and almost done level 2! It does get easier the second time around. Hang in there and keep up the good work, everyone! :flowerforyou:

Speaking of exercising at that time of month, Gaiam has "warning" that goes like... "Certain special precautions apply to this or any other exercise program. For example, women who are menstruating should not practice inverted poses, back bends, or vigorous standing poses. Pregnant women should not practice twists or any…

I'm on my second round doing this dvd. First round was in December. I still feel sore the next day! lol
-
I`m starting up today! Again! lol I did it back in December and I feel ready to try it again.
-
Do you really think keeping on doing an intense workout is going to help your ankle?
-
No, there is no way I'm counting calories for the rest of my life. I'm trying it for today and I'm already frustrated with it! I have no problem exercising and do so willingly on a daily or alternate daily basis and switch things up often. BUT, when I "counted calories" today I was already "OVER" my limit by 59 by lunch…

SW Ontario here!

Totally normal. It's just from you working hard and your body goes into automatic cool down to regulate your body heat again.

I think my calf muscles tore just reading the title of this thread! I think it's outrageous and not a smart move. But... whatever floats your boat...

I've read on several websites that green tea is better than water. I always drink green tea.
-
Having my coconut oil right now with my green tea! I never eat anything "skim". Whole fat cottage cheese, butter, beef, pork... etc. BRING IT!

My heart rate from 70 - 136 within 20 minutes of shoveling snow! Under all that snow is a sneaky sheet of ice. :frown:
-
This is why we have kids! LOL! I'll supervise while they shovel. J/K! I like using snow shoveling as a good workout. Chances are I'll be out there more than once! This is some nasty stuff! I'm from SW Ontario.

Oooh, I love my cast iron, too! I just recently bought a cast iron roasting pot. I also have 4 cast iron pans in different sizes and have a new gas stove. Great stuff!
