  • UPDATE: I am extremely stressed by finishing up my last semester before I graduate with a degree I cannot get a job in (health sciences) without going into a grad program of some kind. I have not had time to use my calipers or measure tape in a while because of my classes taking the more important role right now. I have…
  • I actually didn't eat that much of a calazone, I ate about two slices about 1 inch thick. I didn't know how to log that, so I just put "1/2" while my S.O. ate about the same amount and my mother had the rest. So, I'd say more of a 1/3 if anything. And I don't know what the other numbers mean. I apologize.
  • I would love to, but that makes me extremely depressed and I do not want to let myself sink back into chronic manic depression (I've been fine for a little over two years now, and I am not planning on that ever happening again). Not to mention every scale I buy ends up being either broken or breaks within a month of use.…
  • Thank you, but I am endomorphic in terms of my body type: I gain muscle and fat extremely easily, but I cannot lose it as fast as someone who's an ectomorph or a mesomorph. Because of that, I need to keep a low calorie goal because, if I make it lower, I end up eating a lower amount (it's usually around 1200- 1300 now,…
  • I don't actually know what that is.
  • My initial starting weight was 197lbs, and my lowest weight (after two grueling years) was 174.5lbs. It says that I went from that to 187lbs in the past few months. It's in the same area and I weigh myself at the same time with the same level of clothing. I've tried many electronic scales, and none of them worked or wore…
  • It is open to the public, at least I think it is.
  • Thanks guys for the info! I'm going to go make an appointment for my doctor and ask what could be done. I am tracking my calories correctly, and I don't think I need to exercise more than I do now (it's about 5-6 times a week in total, for 40-60 minutes each time), so it might be something else. I'm glad I'm losing fat and…
  • It's the same scale I've had for years. I tried some electronic ones while I've had this one, and they all just kept giving me different weights or would weigh anything I placed on it as me, and give my weight instead of what they were. So I'm back to my old scale, and have used it for over a year straight now.
  • Sorry, I clicked on the wrong topic forum category, it was supposed to be in dieting tips. Sorry about that! And I only weigh myself every so often, so the last time I weighed myself was a couple months ago. I use a calliper to measure BF, and the scale I use is mechanical. Every digital scale I got broke in the first few…
  • I've been on a different lifestyle and have been exercising a lot for over a year.
  • @Muscleflex79 I would, but I don't have time to join a gym and I use the gym at my college (I barely have time to eat more than two meals a day throughout the week, let alone sleep). I am trying to make sure that I get better posture so I want to work on my back, and I want to make sure my kicks in martial arts are…
  • Thank you for this guys :) I am very sore still from my exercises, so I do agree that it could be water retention. As for the exercises I do exactly, it's Ab machine (forgot the name right now), Hip Abductors, and Back Extension. I usually do the treadmill after that for about 20-30 minutes. And yeah, I also do fat…
  • Hey guys! I think it was just done by over-use because of how much I exercise. I don't feel it anymore when I stand up, but I still get it when I kneel down, so I think I'm gonna give it a few more days to see if it gets better :)
  • I didn't know there was an "enable negative calorie adjustment"! That will help a lot!
  • Wow! I am so sorry i didnt post back! I am actually really happy with how I look so far: my clothes are looser, my body is shrinking, my bathing suit is so big that I have to constantly make sure I don't flash anyone now! Personally, I prefer body measurements and checking my body fat percentage compared to weighing…
  • I did not know there would be these many replies in such a short amount of time! Thank you so much for your help everyone, it really did give me some great insight on what's going on  For RGv2: I have a fitbit account and pedometer/heart rate monitor, and it gave me a calorie goal of 1400 calories if I wish to lose…
  • I've had mine for about three months now, and I love it. It really does help me lose weight, especially in Martial Arts, and it really helps me try to get a better sleep.
  • I just want to let you know, my body is very susceptible to medications for headaches and depression (for some reason all the tylonals do nothing lol) I gained twenty pounds in a month after taking these damn things since april DX and it just appeared overnight too! I eat pretty well, i exercise a couple times a week, and…
  • Well, I say if you really are backed up and you need to use a colon cleanser, then go right ahead. I'm using an Acai berry cleanser, and it actually suppressed my appetite and helped me get rid of my constipation. So, if you want to cleanse, I recommend that. But if you don't need to, then don't. Just from my experience :)
  • I know this is a couple years old, but I would like to share what I have had: The 14 day acai berry cleanse and the fat burn cleanse has been working for me so far. I have trouble down there too, and it does help me a lot.
  • it happens to me all the time before my period comes. It's called Bloating, and it isn't fat at all: It's water weight. I don't know why, but your body retains it before menstruation, and then you lose most of it a few days afterwards. Trust me, it will go away soon. Word of advice: What i do is that I don't weigh myself…
  • I use it, and i'm going to be honest: it's a great idea. It lets you remember that you burn calories throughout the day, and not just during exercising. That way, you know exactly how much you burned that day! It also gives you goals that you have to reach each week. For me, it's 70,000 steps a week, which isn't hard at…
  • What I found that tastes good is to put the cinnamon in an empty tea bag, and then using it in chocolate tea! It tastes like hot chocolate with cinnamon in it, but it's healthy!!! :D and you're still getting the benefits of it.
  • One of my co-workers swears by this drink and says that it really does help with losing weight. I'm actually going to try this tonight and will hopefully have results in a week or two. P.S. the drink isn't supposed to taste good, so if you want to try this out, don't think it's going to taste like sugar and rainbows.
  • I think the best idea would be some protein bars, or even if you bring some cheese slices with cold cuts to fill you up. What I do when i'm hungry at work is get freeze-dried fruit. 4 packets of them (I eat the Evolution fruit packets) are equal to 4 servings of fruit. And there are varieties of the fruit. They are filling…
  • Last year, I decided to eat them 3 times a day while working at an art camp. So that plus exercise at night helped me lose about 20 pounds in 3 months. However, when I stopped eating them I gained the weight back. So, if you want to keep the weight off, I suggest eating 2 a day and a regular meal after you lose the weight…
  • Hey Guys! I just started Zumba with the Zumba Fitness for the Kinect. I was only able to do 22 minutes without fainting for my first try, but i don't know how many calories i burned. Can anyone help me with how to calculate that? I don't have enough for a HRM, and my parents would kill me if i bought one with their money.
