I used to do only cardio (running 6x/week, marathons and ultras) but now I lift way more than I do cardio. I think they are both good and beneficial, and I don't think the cardio I do has reduced/killed any gains. The heart is a pretty important muscle - I want mine to be fit like the rest of me! :)

Are you weighing your food? If not, then the bottom line is (assuming no medical conditions) you are simply eating more than you think. It is not necessary to give up all of those foods. Your diary is not open so there is not much more advice to be offered at the moment.

Saddlebags/butt. I am actually going to have a consult with a plastic surgeon to see what options are available, since 20+ years of diet and exercise have produced minimal results.

The only time I wear different shoes for running and lifting is on leg day. On leg day I wear Chuck Taylor's because running shoes are too cushioned for squats. Chuck's give me a more level surface. Now I am just waiting to see a huge improvement in the amount of weight I can squat! ;)

Dreadmill. I would prefer to be outside, but sometimes I am too much of a weather wimp. On those days, I wear my ipod and/or watch ESPN while running on the dreadmill.

I ran 10 miles after donating blood, but that was about 14 years ago. I felt fine, it was a good run. I actually remember it because it was just a few days after 9/11. That being said, I am pretty sure I have done smarter things in my life....

To answer your question, OP - I did WW a long time ago when they had their Fat & Fiber plan. I do not particularly care for it, and here's why: first off, the scale is NOT the end-all, be-all of weight loss. WW will note any weight gain no matter how miniscule. If you do not have and use a food scale to weigh your food, then you are likely NOT staying under your calorie goal.

I have tracked while on vacation and will continue to do so. I walked a TON on both of my European vacations and just tried to log as best as I could, although a lot of the foods I ate weren't really in the database (i.e. honey filled mini croissants in Rome - TO.DIE.FOR!).
