Whoa! Good for you on losing 132lbs - keep it up!
-
The container states to NOT start out with an entire scoop. OP - try a half scoop and see how you feel. I use it every morning and have for a few years; I only do a half scoop and it sometimes gives me a grumbly tummy.
-
I go commando for every workout. It's so much more comfortable!

Running is not a muscle building activity. If you want to gain muscle eat at a surplus and lift weights.

Poor nutrition, poor sleep, stress, menopause symptoms - these are your issues, not some trumped up diagnosis from a naturopath. It is not surprising (to me, anyway) that you did not feel well while exercising. Have you tried yoga or meditation/breathing exercises? I think working in a family business alone would cause me…
-
I am not a doctor, nor do I play one on MFP (despite what you may think). ;) How is your nutrition? Are you eating enough (not sure if you are here to lose weight, just to track calories/macros, or what)? Are you hydrated? Are you sleeping well? Although I am not (yet) menopausal, I understand that some of the symptoms…

I hope you will reconsider spending a BUNCH of your hard-earned money on a bunch of stuff that won't help any of your (real [menopause] or perceived [adrenal fatigue]) issues. Friends of mine did the same thing and greatly regret it.
-
From the Endocrine Society: The term “adrenal fatigue” has been used to explain a group of symptoms that are said to occur in people who are under long-term mental, emotional, or physical stress. Supporters of adrenal fatigue say that you may be more likely to develop this condition if, for example, you have a stressful…

You are not losing weight because you do not have anything to lose. Why do you want to lose another 4 lbs?
-
I have had my BF% measured via Dexa scan on two occasions. It is pretty cool to see fat distribution, how much visceral fat one has, etc. I'd really like to get mine done again sometime soon.

Not a dumb question AT ALL! I feel your pain regarding long-ish commutes. I live outside of Chicago and work in the city, so I am at the mercy of the train schedules (and delays). I so some sort of workout every day. 99% of the time I work out in the morning before work. This does mean going to bed early and getting up at…

The bolded part: NO.
-
Yep! I used to run 60-70 miles per week while eating cereal for breakfast and salads for lunch and dinner. I didn't have lady time for two years and also sustained a metatarsal stress fracture and plantar fasciitis. Good times.....(not really).

Thank you for posting the "finished product". You look stunning! Did your ex's mouth fall to the floor when you sashayed in?
-
You look fabulous in this dress! I could NEVER wear a dress like that because I have NO boobs (36A, barely). We are so critical of ourselves; people see us so differently. I sincerely hope you feel good in the dress and have a wonderful time at the wedding!

Weigh your food with a scale. Measuring cups are not accurate. Please post your stats so we can give you advice.

My "staple" items from TJ's are: soy milk Greek yogurt Lite Kettle corn (snack bags) Reduced guilt chicken salad Chicken tamales Frozen veggies Dark chocolate

Agreed. Good luck OP.

Pfft - from someone who doesn't even have a photo of themselves in their profile. What are you afraid of?
-
Did you ever stop to think that I was doing so CONSTRUCTIVELY, not to be mean? I was ENCOURAGING you to keep doing what you are doing and not to be so hard on yourself. But if you cannot see beyond the one little thing, then my sincere apologies. I still wish you the best of luck and hope you stop comparing yourself with…

Losing (not loosing, sorry) 10lbs/week is not safe or sustainable. Losing 2lbs/week (depending on how much you have to lose) is MUCH safer and sustainable. Don't compare yourself with others, especially when comparing apples to oranges. Weight loss is not linear - look at your overall trend. You're on the right track!
-
OP, HUGE props to you for coming back and apologizing. I can certainly sympathize with your frustration. You CAN do this!!!!
-
No, IT doesn't work, but the search function does.
-
I have not read a single response that was mean, OP. You have gotten excellent advice but seem to discount all of it. If you think you are doing everything correctly but are not losing weight and barring any medical condition, then you have to stop pointing fingers at everyone else and start pointing at yourself.
-
Sounds like a two-fold issue here....You will probably get a lot of stock responses to your post (i.e. you won't always be fat, but she will always be a jerk, etc.). I just wanted to say that I am so sorry that this happened. I hate that people treat others so horribly. You said that you have not lost any weight in the…

I do something every day (unless my body tells me it needs a rest day or if business travel makes it impossible). I lift weights 2 days on/one day off and do cardio (usually running or stepmill) 3-4x per week.
-
Word.

You are correct that eating so few calories mess up your metabolism if done for a prolonged period of time, not to mention that it is pretty impossible to get the necessary nutrients your body needs. The bigger issue though is are you weighing your food? If you are not, then it is very likely that you are eating more than…

While not as extreme as your symptoms, I also have many of those issues each month. The world just looks different in my eyes right around/during the lady time. I feel like a heifer, what little I have on top becomes extremely tender/sensitive about 2 weeks prior, I am CONVINCED I have miraculously gained 30lbs overnight…
