Fitbit was super accurate for me during weight loss
-
I had the same experience and returned it as I use it for maintenance and that's not reliable. I am back with fitbit

yes, I do. It's great! Probably no need to adjust higth

I read somewhere that obesity (and weight gain) is like chronic condition. You don't get it under control and forget about it. You have to actively manage it to stay there Many people have no understanding of what is required to maintain, and would say you lost the weight, would you not do x or y, you have nothing to worry…

Name: Nia Total Weight lost:13 kg Time it took to lose: about 10 months How long in maintenance: 3 months Maintenance weight range: 57 to 60 kg Week of... 2nd January: 61 kg. 9th January: 16th January: 23rd January: 30th January: Little bit outside my comfort zone, but will deal with the 1kg this month. I was on 2 weeks…

I love mine. I had vivoactive hr, but garmin day calculations are very unreliable. I returned it and went back to fitbit. go for it!
-
It wasn't as accurate as fitbit for me, I had vivosmart active. The daily totals seem to be random very often. Example day with gym, 22000 steps, swim - 1800 calories Day with 9000 steps, no gym 2500 calories total daily burn I returned it as I use my tracker for maintenance and this inconsistency would mess things up for…

sorry for your loss.

I learned to dislike the feeling of being too full and eating in excess. I didn't, apart from 25th maybe. I still went over my calories some days, but for me being sensible during Christmas, as I aim to be any day is better approach. I didn't dread Christmas at all, I had plan of what treats I will indulge, in what…

Reading this was life changing for me Dr Yoni Freedhoff "Best weight” is a non-statistical goal that is easy to set and easy to explain to patients. Patients can diet themselves down to any weight they put their minds to, but to maintain that weight, they need to actually enjoy the lifestyle that got them there. A…

Same with me. Less weight loss, but end up regaining it slowly. This time I figured, it only takes me few minutes daily - I will just continue tracking

Well done, you nailed it! Looking fantastic.

re Chris Kresser - he is not qualified dietitian, he sales paleo books based on promoting eating red meat, he is personal invested in interrupting the complex medical research papers in ways to promote his views, and not your health! He is not credible source for interrupting the matter, nor he is qualified to do so in my…

It is linked to increased risk of colorectal cancer. Specifically processed read meat, including the preservative Sodium Nitrite, mostly used in red meat but sometimes in other processed meats too. Also burned meat as bbq'd steak - the burned bits are very cancerogenic, some say more than smoking! But cooked dark meat as…

I imagined myself being 60 and still having to diet post vacation. It felt I can't do this anymore. That I need consistency and moderation even on vacations and holidays I know the exact date I had this conversation with myself, loosing and regaining weight is sooooooooooo heartbreaking. I couldn't take the thought of…

poison mushrooms. Honestly don't

no, they don't. But drinking too many of them may not be optimal for satiety levels. If you drink one a day, perfectly ok. If you drink 5 smoothies, you maybe more hungry compared to eating your calories if this make sense :)
