Hi, Im doing a Spartan Race in about 3 weeks, my training consists of bootcamp twice a week, running and weights. I know im going to have issues with some of the obstacles as I'm not that strong (can only bench press about 40kg/88lbs) and cant do a pull up to save myself - but i figure it will be fun.

I wear a Berlei sports bra with a Champion crop top over the top. Ive also got an Enell bra, but I find it too hot to wear.

I havent been a member of Curves, but have been with Contours (pretty much the same), I found that I got bored really quickly with the same workout and routines each time. I got bored with the lack of cardio equipment and no free weights. here were women of all ages there. I would save your money and buy some equipment for…

Get a HRM, I found that depending on the instructor and the bike I had I could burn anywhere between 400-580 calories in a 45 minute class. I generally found that the bikes underestimated the calories by 200, whereas MFP overestimated by 150ish

I love spin class, remember to take a towel and water. Tell the instructor that its your first class, they will help you to set up the bike and give you tips. Just remember to pace yourself, your first 2-3 classes can be a little intense, but it does get easier once your used to it. Having a good instructor and music…

I just bought mine from Kmart (their brand), I think it was around $25 - I didnt know how often I would use it. Its been really good, Ive had it for about 8mths and use it about 5 times a week. I havent had any problems with it - it can be a little noisy at times (not sure if the more expensive ones are quieter).

I generally wear stuff from Target, I buy it when its on sale. I got a pair of pants the other week for $7. I have also get stuff from Rebel, I like Adidas adipure stuff, their pants are usually around $60, but you can get them on sale for around $25-$30, the pants are great as they wick the sweat away and as they are…

Try changing the battery in it, if that doesnt work, I would take it back.

I've only just started (about 6 weeks ago), I love it, my son has been doing it for about 6mths so I decided to join in as well instead of just sitting there watching. I figure its a good workout but also a great self defence. Im wishing I had of started it years ago.

Ive lost 49lbs (22kgs) and I havent lost any of my boobs. Ive lost band width but not cup size. I guess everyone is different, I was hoping to lose a little from my cup size, but it doesnt look like its going to happen

I used to hate running outside, but Im actually starting to really enjoy it. When I first started I started on the treadmill, then moved to running outside (which I found much harder). Ive found that if I stick with it, get some good music and a good rhythm happening, I rather quite enjoy it. I NEVER thought that I would…

I think PT are great, I have had 2 different trainers - one through the gym and a private one. I've found the private one to be alot better, he is more motivated, listens to what I want - he is also cheaper and if he isnt happy with the session that we have done, he doesnt charge me!!! PT sessions are great as its never…

Dips done for the day - my arms are going to be sore tomorrow :)

Im not sure what mine is upon waking up, but if standing still mine is generally 58-62, but have had it as low as 55.

I do boxing or try and do a bootcamp or something similar. Anything to get rid of the frustration.

Sounds great, Im in

I discovered that I cant do either with my trainer as well - its funny though I can run, jumping jacks, jump on a trampoline, but the moment a skipping rope comes out thats it. Arhh the joys of having kids
-
Haha - I know that feeling, but its skipping (jump rope) for me. I can do jumping jacks no problem, but cant skip to save myself
-
50 jumping jacks done for this morning. I think I might alternate and do 50 jumping jacks in the morning and 50 sit ups at night. My issue is going to be drinking that much water, without spending the whole day in the toilet.

It didnt happen for me, Im 22kgs (49lbs) down, whilst my band size has gone down, my cup size has stayed the same.
-
I went back on it awhile ago and gained about 5kg in about 8wks. My dr told me that there are other brands of the pill out there that you wont gain on, its just a matter of trial and error - he also said that the more expensive brands you are less likely to gain on.

Hi, Im from country Victoria - feel free to add me. Cheers, Lyndall

Ive got 38kg to lose, Ive lost 22kg so far. Am wanting to lose the other 16 next year.

Congrats on joining the gym. I see my personal trainer once a week, it costs me $25 for 30min. I do a variety of things from weight training to HIIT, it really depends on what else Ive done during the week and what Im wanting to work on, I;m currently trying to build upper body strength. For me the most beneficial thing…

Hey, Feel free to add me, Im on here each day :) Cheers, Lyndall

If your talking about the battery in the chest strap, I got one from my local supermarket. Otherwise a watch place should have a battery for the watch
-
Ive got a Polar FT4 - I love it, its definitely been a worthwhile investment - i think mine cost around $40 off Amazon
-
Bumping - interested in responses as well

I have this one as well, its good, but doesnt breathe like some other bras, so I find it very hot to wear
