I don't trust it. The lifesum app gives similar calories back using fitbit. Only app that seems accurate is nutracheck
-
I feel like mine gives too many calories I did 21k steps yesterday & it says that's 1200 calories back.
-
Already tracked some stuff for tomorrow but I have millions of calories left . I have had a takeaway too this week . I have lost weight this week .. just think these aren’t right & is a false sense of security if I were to eat them back . (Not going to)
-
This is from today ,did some jogging in amongst the steps calculation . I feel like this is too much .
-
There is a lot of problems just now . It will come back once MFP fix it
-
Thanks Thanks , I couldn’t see that group in the app. Do you have to log in on website to see other groups ?
-
Where is the Fitbit group ?
-
Hijack .. what about the Nokia Steel HR ? I’m looking at that as my tracker is broken now .
-
At least yours is a healthy entry
-
Well done

Yeah it’s the WW flex I was doing ... I previously did the smart points one but really struggled with the new one . The only real benefit of that one for me was zero point chicken but I would be as well just doing smart points without flex that way could still get more points & eat chicken when I wanted it instead of…
-
Thanks for help everyone . Yeah when I was doing WW I did track & when I stuck to it I lost, but at same time it was easiest to fall off

I know it is a total mindset , eating sweets while drinking diet juice when the tv is on at night is my biggest downfall . I don’t know if the Zero app will work as I am still hungry (over my calories) & the sun hasn’t set yet
-
It’s my worst time . Doesn’t matter what diet I am on WW , SW or MFP . When it comes to watching tv at end of day ....it’s snack time
-
Yeah I was thinking if I didn’t use MMR it would only take my steps & not any time that I jogged etc
-
Thanks for this info much appreciated
-
Ah that would explain it if it works like that :)

Maybe but it doesn’t catch up.. earlier today my apple health & MFP were reading the same but around 9k the MFP started showing less now I have done 19k but MFP 15k . I know it doesn’t really matter much calories wise but it’s just annoying that it doesn’t show all my steps for the day in the app
-
Yeah they are not fully syncing . Today for example I have done 19k steps but MFP is showing 15k & it won’t catch up (past few days hasn’t caught up )
-
Anyone know why it does this ? Today apple health says 13k steps but MFP 11k
-
Just checked my timezone is the same.
-
I set MFP to count steps using iPhone . They sync pretty much until around 8 or 9k steps then it just seems to stop
-
Hi didn’t know you had to set time in mfp. Where is that setting
-
I have done WW recently too & I do lose on it but I find it too restricting .. they say you can eat what you like & use the points .. but I always end up back on MFP . My only danger with mfp is that bad foods creep back in because I can eat them as part of calories ... really trying to eat more fruit & have more sensible…
-
Hi it’s on the website not the app
-
Now I have 500 calories for 3000 steps . Hmmmm
-
I got it syncing ...had to enable negative adjustments But now it's putting me into negative calories for exercising .don't understand it
-
Thanks for this , yeah don't see it getting fixed anytime soon.. makes tracking in mfp difficult .. I'm not convinced my phone counts the steps correctly anyway even if it did work though
-
Thanks for this .. yeah it's frustrating. Was getting tired of the iPhone battery life & switched phones .. but there is always something lol
-
Yeah it's something to do with the data being sent ... A difference between kcal & cal .. I can finish a day & it says I have 80,000 calories remaining
