Saw the app Zero .
Was thinking of trying the circadium rhythm fast to stop snacking at night
Is this something you would do every day & just get into a pattern . Would I still be trying to aim for the same calories every day ?

Your eating schedule/frequency does not affect your calorie needs.
I'm not familiar with that type of fast, so I have no idea how often you would do it.
I actually save a few calories for an evening snack, as I seem to sleep better with just a little food in my stomach. But I know typical 16:8 IF can help people who snack at night simply out of habit, just closing the kitchen so to speak helps them clear it from their mind. Brushing your teeth after dinner can help too!5 -

It’s my worst time . Doesn’t matter what diet I am on WW , SW or MFP . When it comes to watching tv at end of day ....it’s snack time

But will a fast (to lose weight) fix that habit......forever?
I had the same problem. 2 possible solutions. Save calories for that time of day. A snack sized-bag of light Pop Secret microwave popcorn is great for a salty snack and only 120 calories.
Another possible solution. Don't eat in front of the TV - ever. Get a large glass of ice water, maybe throw in a lemon wedge. Then find something (anything) to do with your hands. A little bit of distraction can take your mind off snacks. Solitaire, adult coloring book, learn to crochet.....anything. Learn a new habit.4 -
I know it is a total mindset , eating sweets while drinking diet juice when the tv is on at night is my biggest downfall .
I don’t know if the Zero app will work as I am still hungry (over my calories) & the sun hasn’t set yet0 -
I do 12/12 and it is helped me a lot. I strive to close my diary at 7 pm, and its almost like "closing up shop" LOL. I can still have an herbal tea or some water, but otherwise nothing. This can change slightly depending on how late I get home from the park etc but having a deadline has helped me cut out almost 100% of my night time snacking.
The way this app does it, from what I just found on google, is it tells you to stop eating when the sun goes down. I would not like this, too extreme for me, but having a set time you stop eating has helped my mind set a lot. Most recently, it helped me say no to Easter candy just last night1
