I started taking mine last Monday (twice a day, gradually working up to 16mg ephedrine and 200mg caffeine a dose) and lost 2 lbs in a week. I don't have a lot to lose so losing 2lbs was major (I usually range from 0.5-1lbs a week). Weighing myself tomorrow morning and hoping for another 2lb loss! :) I would also like to…

1. People who don't wipe down their machines 2. People who don't wash their gym clothes (ew) 3. People who are totally unaware of their surroundings (this applies to life in general but I get most annoyed at the gym) 4. People who chat with friends while hogging a machine for 23833975 minutes. 5. People on their phones 6.…

Ugh I know how you feel, in the beginning it's hard but honestly, you'll feel (and look!) so much better if you resist the temptation most of the time. I think the issue here is that you've associated fast food to a ritual that relaxes you so that's why you may be mourning more than some. I stopped eating processed foods…

lol cool, thanks!

Do you mind sharing your plan? Doesn't have to be on here, PM me. I'm curious :)

Well I know it helps you sweat out toxins and whatnot but not sure about weight loss benefits..

1. A 0.5-1lbs per week loss is actually healthy, any more, especially with the amount you're looking to lose wouldn't be. 2. You may be under eating. Everyone assumes cutting calories dramatically will make a difference but it often switches your body into starvation mode *FYI, the minimum cals you should be eating is…

Just saw I put abs twice when I really do it once, either when I do legs OR shoulders. You may think my workouts suck but I've seen progress and it works for me so far so... meh.

There isn't an easy fix. Eat right, workout and make sure calories in < calories out. Simple.
-
Yes I do, I basically follow my fiancé's lead. He's really fit and basically workout like he does (and I am not bulky for those who are wondering about working out like a guy). Day 1 - Chest + Triceps + Cardio (HIIT) Day 2 - Shoulders + Abs + Cardio (HIIT) Day 3 - Back + Biceps + Cardio (HIIT) Day 4 - Legs Day 5 - Bonus (I…

Aren't you worried about the OJ and milk/yogurt mix in your stomach?
-
It depends on what you put in them. Some companies make pre-made smoothies and those are usually the ones to look out for, or those meal replacement shakes (such as Carnation Breakfast). If you're making your own and you know what goes into them, then you're fine. I personally make mine with a scoop of protein powder, some…

LOL I don't see why some people are being so offended by it...
-
If I had a hot body I'd do it no problem... but my gym has a really strict dress code in the co-ed area and I work out with my fiancé so it wouldn't happen anyway.
-
A trainer suggested I look into l-glutamine for post workout soreness. I haven't tried it but apparently it works. I sometimes take a protein shake after a workout and I find it helps a bit.
-
Not sure about that post but I was thinking about switching to butter due it being more "natural" than margarine... hmm.

I can't do aspartame (I HATE the taste and yes, I don't care what you say, there is a distinct taste). I just nixed pop alltogether because let's be honest, pop is pop, diet or not.

I don't go out often so when I do, I like to treat myself and order whatever I feel like eating. If I have a choice of sides, I opt for the healthier option and so on but I don't deprive myself. I usually plan ahead so I make sure that if I go out for dinner, my breakfast lunch and snacks are healthy. I treat myself in…

I suppose I should do that, it sounds better for sure! lol

I had a homemade grilled garlic and tomato soup with a slice of whole wheat ciabatta and water. Yum!

1200 calories is the lowest recommended amount of calories you need before going into starvation more, so in other words, it's the bare minimum.
-
My calorie count was initially set to 1200 because I was trying to lose 1lb a week. I then quickly realized that I was eating too few calories. I don't have a lot to lose (15-20lbs) and the goal I set myself was unrealistic. I since then changed my goal to 0.5lbs/week and I now have 1420 calories which is much more…
-
Hmm ok, makes sense. Thanks!

I'm 5'3", weigh 135lbs as well, work out 5 days a week (and run at least 4 out of the 5), and put that I want to lose 1lb/week and it still gives me 1200 calories... which is the bare minimum I can eat. Every time I come in under (not often), it warns me that I'm under eating and that it's not good. lol I can never win!
-
I'm looking to lose 15-20lbs too! Feel free to add me :)

Funny you mention lifting heavy. I workout with my fiancé and he's really fit so I lift heavy with him (or "workout like a guy") haha and people are always like WHATTT you don't use 2lb dumbells? hahah
