  • Wow. If my co-workers did something like that, I would ask them how old they are! That's just stupid, disrespectful and down-right childish!
  • I agree with this - except I have a slightly longer list of acceptable names. Children (of course), parents or siblings. And pets (since that's the only "child" I have...). I steer away from SO names, 'cause (sad but true) you never know what's going to happen there.
  • This made me lol
  • Yay! Thank you - I was hoping you could share a link the actual one you prefer. :-) I agree - it's frustrating that you can't find it anywhere. It looks like only the most recent release is readily available anywhere... I've looked at my local library, and they have a looooong waiting list for the Zumba videos. I will have…
  • Which is the old one? I've been looking into Zumba, and I've read this comment by a number of people (here and elsewhere on the internet) and I'm not sure what is meant by the "old" version...

I was hanging out, chatting with my dad when one of my nieces (whom my parents were watching that day) wandered in to the living room with a bag of crackers. My dad practically fell all over himself, telling…
  • Hi Jo! 1680 calories isn't really that bad. ;-) It can take a little time to get used to, but after a week or two you shouldn't feel hungry at the lower calorie level. Adding in exercise to increase your calorie allowance isn't a bad plan either. Eating foods with more fiber will help keep you from feeling hungry. I've…
  • It's great to see all these responses, because I felt a little alone on here too! I need to lose a minimum of 100 lbs, and closer to 150 would be better for me! >.< But I'm off to a good start - just gotta keep it going! :-)
  • My employer sponsored a month of exercise type thing - no "challenge" or anything, but they sent out weekly emails with different exercises that can be done at your desk. There were also posters encouraging participation. It was simple, and really up to the employees discretion to do or not. They did also provide a…
