  • Found us. Any of you who haven't added me, please do. Its been a slow start for me but I am getting there. The gym I think is the hardest, just because It has been since 1996 since I have lifted a finger so I am a bit weak. Slowly I will get here but I am determined.

  • Awww, thanks so much. Yes, I am trying to look at the overall picture. LOL - No Fads, no gimmicks. I was proud of myself for being able to do the treadmill for 30 minutes on a level 5. hahaha. Silly to others but most certainly I felt the pain - so not so silly to me. Looks like you are doing great as well. :-)
  • An update - I got my results for my bloodwork back and there was an issue. My sodium is way below and my pottasium is way high. I go back on Friday for more bloodwork. Thank goodness it isn't the diet at least. LOL Thanks for your help.
  • Cool, thanks for that input. In the meantime, is there something I can take to sort of "ease the pain" of my damn gut? It seriously hurts the minute I put anything in it. I had 3 ounces of chicken and some brown rice and lunch and within minutes it started to hurt. It just seems so weird but apparently not bad enough to…
  • Thanks. I went to the doctor today and she said I cut to many calories to fast but I beg to differ. How can healthy be bad. Grrr. She said it is withdrawls. But I am on 8 days now. WTH? lol
  • Me too. I am 49 and have a long ways to go. My oldest daughter doesn't want to lose weight but she is going to go to the gym with me to TONE up. Tomorrow will be my first day. Fighting menopause and the weight gain, I have decided enough....So the mission begins 10/4/12. Wish me luck. Any ideas on menu planning?
