both sound delicious! We are having shrimp, portabella mushroom burgers with sauteed brussel sprouts, spinach and pine nuts. If hubby wants meat, he can eat left overs!

I love the program so far. I'm on my second week. I think the book is great and very informative. Have you visited the forum yet?

Are you able to keep the junk food out of the house? If so...my thought process: Out of sight, out of mind, out of body.

I only get this way if the apple is the only thing I ate on an empty stomach. I have to pair the apple with peanut butter or cheese. This happens to my husband too.

I'm sorry for your loss and that you have to go through this pain. Try to remember the good times and that he is no longer in pain. I don't know what your spiritual beliefs are, but I believe that you will see him again, in the next life. Is there someone you can talk to? To get support from? When I get depressed from…

Perhaps you can avoid the questions by starting the conversation and making that conversation all about the person you are talking to. Does that make sense? Sorry you are dreading it.

That is a good question. I think it was after. It's only been recently...I'd say....3 or 4 years. I also had an ectopic pregnancy 5 years ago (tubal pregnancy) and a fallopian tube was removed. Again, the muscle cramps started after that.

Thanks guys and gals. I thought about getting it checked out, but haven't. I just assumed it was like a charlie horse in the calf. The tongue!! Now that is a new one for me! Never heard of buzzle.com. I'll have to check that out. I guess I could do more stretching, but I do yoga, so I assumed that would be enough.…

Good to know. I seriously would feel guilty the first few times I did this, but then I realized it actually helped me! Glad to know I'm not alone

I'm in the Dayton, Ohio area and you can find it at Kroger's in their natural food section. Also, Dorothy Lane Market and Trader Joe's like others had said. Store it in the freezer so it lasts longer. In fact, I store most of my nuts/seeds in the freezer.

How are your shoes? They can play a HUGE role in back pain.

Congrats!!

I concur with the ENELL bra. Totally worth the 50.00 bucks. I too have large breasts and this bra keeps them nice and snug. I jog on trails and they seriously don't move. It's a new feeling :D

Congrats!! What have you been doing? Anything specific?

I enjoy doing the 30 day shred as well as her newest DVD, Yoga Meltdown. In fact, that is the only yoga I can do!!

You might be used to eating certain foods and now that are aren't, your mind and body are probably adjusting to the new life style. Don't give up!!

Are you getting enough of the good fats?? What about taking supplements?

I do what chelekaz does. I do the elliptical for 10-20 min, then hit the weights. Also, from my research, I would not do light weights with more repetition. That does not shed the weight. I mean, I'm sure it will over time, but why not start out strong. From what I've read, you want to lift heavier. Read a book called The…

Welcome!! I am relatively new too. You have great goals. Just remember those goals when you are tempted to stray! Good luck!!

"I feel thinner, I feel better, but I am baffled when I step on the scale. " That is what is most important!!! Don't let the scale frustrate you! You could be gaining muscle? You food looks good. What about exercises? What kind of weight lifting are you doing?

Hi! I would love to be your friend! I feel that half of the battle we are fighting is our mentality of losing the weight and being healthy. Try not to beat your self up over gaining the weight back. Try to find the positives. I understand about the whole trial thingy. I'm fighting the urge as I type this to eat…

I concur with binary_jester. Her torso looks...strange, like they screwed up something in photoshop. With that being said, it's good to have goals. Good luck and let us know how the C25K works for you.

oops I forgot to add it, I just edited it! Thanks for the reminder!

I couldn't figure it out, so here is the recipe. Wish I could post a picture too, but oh well. This makes 3 pancakes, one pancake is one serving only because one pancake is VERY filling! Just add some fruit and it's a great meal. I hope you enjoy! Ingredients: 1/4 cup pumpkin puree 1 scoop of protein powder ( I use EAS…

Well, that is something to get checked out. However, weight lifting will help you lean up more. But you can't lift weights using the 5 to 10 lbs...you have to lift heavy, and you won't bulk up, despite rumors of that happening. Check out this book:…
