Focus on how you felt when you were done. It wasn't really much of a treat if it left you feeling crummy. I try to slow down with treats and savor them. That way I am more likely to notice and stop when I am at the tipping point of eating too much. :)

I work in a rather small office so I can smell everything that everyone eats. I have learned to ignore it, but some days it does smell sooo yummy. :-)

I know someone that just got the Surge and it has GPS for running. She loves it.

The main one for me is alcohol. It always seems to add the pounds faster than it should for the calories. :-)

I find that individually portioned products can really help. I have one Ghirardelli chocolate square almost every day.

I'm in my fifties and I take medication for thyroid. I've been able to lose weight but it's been a rather slow process.

I would say the solution might be to just work out harder so that your focus Is on yourself rather than on watching other people at the gym.

I've had a flex for quite a long time and I love it. I was thinking of getting the Charge HR when it comes out. But the one thing I do love about the Flex is tha I can change out the colors on the band and the color options are actually pretty good.

In the long run I have found that when I really have a craving if I find a way to indulge it, I do much better overall.

For me the scale provides accountability, so I weigh frequently. I also use trend weight so that little fluctuations don't bother me so much.

If your weight loss is as expected, then you can tell that your estimate is pretty good. If you are not losing or losing too much, then you would need to rethink it. :wink:

I look better and feel better. What's not to like? :D Sometimes I get frustrated and would love to stuff myself full of fattening food - but I don't think I got more enjoyment out of eating than I do out of feeling better. I think of it more as substituting a long term enjoyment in place of a short term enjoyment.

I add some plain protein powder to my morning yogurt to help me reach my protein goal for the day. I don't really like eggs for breakfast.

Every once in a while they're syncing issues. They usually goes away quickly. I'm not having any issues today.
