Amazing transformation, you look great! Holy willpower :)

Count me in! :)

Ha! that is awesome! time to do some shopping

Coconut water- yes! I randomly tried it when I was hungover and sick with a cold without knowing it's wonders... and it was amazing! Very refreshing and it felt like I was becoming healthy by consuming it. Also: eggs, chocolate milk, bloody marys!
-
Wow, awesome work! You look amazing... and a lot like Emma Stone :)

Anything and everything sweet! Although my big addiction is one of the "slightly healthier" options- slightly undercooked gingerbread people decorated with red hots :)

Thankful for many things this year! For my family all being together after my dad was deployed last year (many thanks to your husband for his service, by the way!) and all the adventures I have had with my fiance- he's made me want to be better at everything in life!

Thanks for all the helpful tips!! Needed it :)

Well it depends on how fast you run.... here's a pace chart: http://www.ontherunevents.com/p_chart.sht Good luck!

If you want to be a total running dork like me you can wear a running jacket that has a LED light strip built in for safety :) I think the best thing to do to get into winter running is just to make it a habit so you ease into those really bitter cold days. We'll see if I follow my own advice this winter, I'll try!

I love the piggy bank suggestion! Retro barbie is also a fun idea. My best costume to date was a "sexy" dinosaur last year, with a huge reptile print neck frill, green leotard and tights, tail, gloves that I modified to separate fingers into 3 talons, and stripper-type shoes with talons attached to them... people liked it!

Potassium is what I've heard recommended as well, so I agree with the banana remedy. Hope it gets better!!

I have also been here before, and I know that it can seem like the number on the scale you once saw (when you were way too thin) can seem like it was your will power at it's best- but it helps to think of your body in overall health terms rather than a number. For example when I was way underweight but very…

I bought sugar free gingerbread flavored syrup last year, and it's not bad!! I forget what brand it is, but I got it at TJ Maxx. I'm sure it's sold elsewhere too though.
-
Yay and ouch... but the AWESOME thing about buying at REI- you can return literally anything you bought there at any time ( doesn't matter how worn it is) and they will give you in-store credit! I think that's how they keep their loyal customers.

YUM! I made something almost exactly like this for my bf's birthday (and called them Man Cupcakes). I added a "sprig" of bacon and a cherry tomato on top for garnish :) They were a huge hit, so I made another version without any topings with an Italian twist by adding marinara sauce, oregano, basil, fennel, and parmesean…

I have stopped counting sugar because of this! The unfair part is that sugars are burned up when you work out, and MFP automatically ups your calorie intake when you log excercise, but not the amount of sugar you can have. The two really go hand in hand, so I wouldn't worry about your sugar intake too much, just cals and…

I've been at my goal weight before and for those few years I loved how I felt and liked how I looked!

That's pretty damn opinionated and insensitive... Anyway, I was going to say I'm sorry you feel so exhausted all the time, that is frustrating! You should probably see a doc/ nutritionist to help figure things out. The fact that you're anemic is a big red flag to me- total energy zapper!
-
I haven't tried that peanut butter powder yet (PB2 I think it's called) but I bet it would be another way to cut calories in this delicious breakfast... also, I loooove slivers of banana with PB oatmeal, makes it even mushier :)

Altough I don't have kids, I am busy and find it challenging to balance these as well. One thing that seems to work if I take the time is to work out in the morning and clean in the evening. If you pick 1-2 things to tackle at night then you might even get some down time!
-
I think it does balance out, and remember that if even if you are "over" 100 calories, it does not mean you actually ate more than you burned that day- you're still about 400 cals under because of the way MFP is set up for you to lose.

Ha, I just read this after posting nearly the same thing....
-
When you get home, don't take much time to "unwind", just go to bed instead so you'll get enough sleep.... easier said than done I know! When I was in the habit of morning runs, I always reminded myself that you will NEVER regret getting up to work out, but you will regret sleeping instead.

I am excited to join this group! Just got engaged last weekend, and due to a very busy year/summer 2012 ahead, we are looking at less than a year before the big day already- yikes! Not that I am looking to lose all THAT much (about 10 lb) but am more worried about all the stress of planning combined with getting in great…

I hear ya, I am pretty unmotivated to work today! Hmmm I am going camping this weekend on Madeline Island, WI and hoping for good weather, even though there's a chance of storms. We had plans to go camping in northern MN, but since the state government shut down a couple weeks ago, all the state parks are closed :/…

Wowzers!! Way to turn your life around, you look amazing. Jealous of your pretty hair (at any weight) too hehe

When I ran xc in college, a girl on my team always got numb feet on long runs, not sure if it went away or if it was her shoes or what.... but it happens to me on the elliptical after about 20 min too- kind of weird!

I love this thread- it is very true that socializing is always revolving around eating and drinking! Since it's sometimes too hard to say no, I have been walking or biking to meet people at the bar/restaurant lately. Other than that- swimming/beaching with friends, playing bean bags (aka corn hole) and sketching are a few…
