I also have skinny chicken legs! I hate them! I have been trying to focus more on my lower half with squats, deadlifts, calf raises, etc. I think my calves are becoming more defined. I place two weight plates in front of me on the floor place my feet with toes toward each other heels out- do my reps, then feet parallel,…

I lost about 15 lbs last year - easily and steady. Always ate over my 1200 net (not intentionally- just didn't have any self control) and was still hungry. Looking back at my diary I ate like s**t! After gaining everything back I restarted this year. It's taking longer but I'm eating more (necessary for me to continue to…

Look at your back! You can really see the difference!

600+ month for 4 (2 kids 2 & 7). 2100 cals. for me. My husband also eats out for lunch a few days a week so I'm sure it' be a little more if he didn't.

2000-2100 usually a little more on the weekend. Netting 1600-1800. I started at 1200 net and have bumped up many times to where I am at now.

For something easy- nachos. Use mission artisan chips, homemade guacamole, black beans, onion and or green onions, cilantro and your chopped up chicken of course. You really don't need cheese but If you can control it- a little won't hurt

Congrats! I wore my hr monitor a full day last week with no exercise and it said I burned close to 2800. I am normally much more active also! I was starting to think that maybe it was wrong!

I just got back from camping over the weekend. I did have some junk but also managed to fit in some healthy things! A couple items: omelets (egg whites, peppers, soy sausage or any other meat cooked ahead, cheese if you'd like) add to zip lock bag and mix. Add baggies to boiling water cook about 10-15 min. They turned out…

Plain cottage cheese makes me gag! If I eat it I have to have it topped on a baked potato or in a green salad instead of dressing...or with frittos!

Hot and spicy sausage patties! Only 3 grams of fat too!

In the beginning I wasn't so open about it- it's the stigma of "calorie counting" I worried about. But now I encourage people who are trying a "new diet" to check out mfp.

Hey you! I was thinking the same thing! Getting a little bored with p90x. I think I saw in a a different post you could do most of the workouts of new rules.. from home but you keep lifting heavier so at some point you'll have to put out some $ for heavier weights. I'll keep posted to your updates and this forum maybe…

I do usually Saturday or Sunday. I wouldn't call it a binge day though- I eat what I want but I don't overload just because I can. The up to this for me is that I don't feel deprived. My husband usually makes biscuits and gravy or pancakes and sorry but I'm definitely having some too :) we also usually eat out for either…

I don't think it's a big deal. We love going there as a family. My kids love the food! And my son loves watching sports! The girls are in tight shorts and tops but nothing is really out if you know what I mean. And sure you can tell the girls are flirting but my kids don't have a clue it's happening.

Great results!

Zen tea with all soy milk no water- and if you'd like you can add a few pumps of peppermint. I've tried without though and it's still really good! If I remember right it's about 100 calories or so.

I don't think you're eating too much. If you're hungry listen to your body and eat.

So cute! You look great and I love your haircut!

Starting week 11 today. Last year I did 60 days before stopping (right about the time I got comfortable with the results). I've only lost about 5 lbs but about 4 inches in my waist. I don't follow the nutrition guide. I keep protein high, lately have been playing with carbs and try to stick to healthy fats. I also eat…

Personally I think the first week is the hardest on your body. For the first few weeks I took protein recovery shots from walmart on days I did plyo. It really helped!

This year I started back at 1200 net and lost about 3 lbs. For the next month or so I lost nothing so I upped by 100. Another 4 weeks later nothing great to talk about- maybe .5 lb. So last week I upped another 100 eating now at 1400-1500 net cals. and finally the scale is moving again!

I personally have never burned 600 calories on any of the p90x DVDs. Prior to buying my hr monitor I logged them in at about 600 cals and didn't know why I wasn't losing weight. I bought a cheap hr monitor from target with no strap- WAY over estimated calories. Returned it for one with a chest strap and I'm pretty sure…
