  • the one that im interested in is only $15, which isnt too bad... but im assuming what he says has helped you?
  • right... lol well i was reading something of his online and hes making it a point to say eat MORE lol...obviously more healthy choices rather than poor choices, but none the less he says to eat more...im considering giving it a try, once i read his book and get a better idea of what i would be getting into.
  • welcome to mfp!!! ive only been on here for a short time as well but i already know i love this site/app ...hope you guys enjoy it as much as i do!!! feel free to add me... the more friends the better....gta keep everyone motivated!!! if not...good luck in your journey to a healthier life!!
  • im actually getting ready to start taking protein to boost some weight loss... however im VERY over weight... what would you suggest is a good amount of protein for a 5'4" female that weighs 231lbs ...cause im sure taking in THAT many grams of protein would be ridiculous?
  • the kind im going to look into is actually at a walmart.
  • also... being about 100lbs over weight, i need to workout VERY hard to start building my muscles back up, which is why ive become interested in adding some extra protein in my diet
  • right... i do not intend on useing the shakes as a meal replacement... ive never used protein suppliments before either.... and i measure everything as well :) some things just add up SOO quickly
  • im def aware of how muscles are built... i never intended on using protein shakes as something to build my muscles alone.. i do workout 3-4times a week, and i do not slack at all while im there!!
  • the whey protein powder i was looking at is to be mixed just with water... im not sure how it will taste lol... hopefully not too bad...ill have to see the calories on it as well cause i wouldnt want it to be the only thing i can have in a day
  • that seems like a great idea... i saw some cookies n creme one lol... sounded yummy... but so do the ones you listed too.... has it helped any with weight loss though?
  • everything will be fine!! you give it you all, do your best and you cant be upset with your absolute best no can you? maybe start the first half of it at a more moderate pace and then slowly increase if you can... im rootin for ya!!
  • AmyR70 ....careing and loving mother

Weekly Goal: 3500+ Mon: calories burned (how they were burned) Tues: calories burned (how they were burned) Wed: calories burned (how they were burned) Thur: calories burned (how they were…

  • also, when i calculated my bmr it says1786 and my rmr is 1826 ... so based on the statement "eat about 100 calories more than that" would that mean eat more than those numbers?? lol... if i averaged those two numbers id get 1806...add 100 and thats 1906.... that seems like ALOT of calories...but like i said, im new to this…

  • i get all that...my allowance is 1240 calories a day...and i keep seeing people say how they had to increase that in order to even lose anything! so this is all very confusing for me!! ive read that cutting calories by too many will in a sense, make your body feed off the muscle etc... yea you will lose weight...but when…

  • im sorry...i have it set as 35g
  • it actually put me at 26g !!! from 2 servings of fruit...i changed it so that i could be allowed 39g...mostly because i love fruit....or is that too high now?
  • what would you suggest is a good level of sugar and protein???
  • right!! lol...ive been lookin on here as to how to change that and i cant figure it out... i took a look and i usually stay within my limits on sugar...usually!! ...but if changing it to a higher number wont screw everything up i would def like to
  • but wouldnt changing what it says i should take in screw everything up??? i feel like its set to that for a reason, or am i mistaken?
  • and no medical reasons to restrict sugar...only cholesterol.... surprisingly my blood sugar levels are good!!
