Thanks for this post, I was doing Keto and doing well, life happened (my choice obviously) and I've put almost all my weight back on. What I did find is that when I did Keto I over all felt so much better. I had more energy, maybe more then in my youthful years, not exhausted all the time, and I felt full. I'm starting…

Congratulations on your hard work and determination! Do you IF every single day, maybe I misunderstood but it sounds like you only eat once a day? Have you thought about being a coach, some of us good use your determination and advice. ;-)

I will join you all in September, August 1st I was on a mini vacation w/the hubby and we were in a car accident. I've been a bit off since that happened. I wish you all the best!

Hello! I haven’t been here in a long time but I need to be here. So ready for the low carb. What stats are we required to have and how does this work? Sorry for all the questions but I really need this.

@saltysailors don't give up! I've been doing this for 9 weeks, the first two weeks I lost, weeks 3/4 & 5 I pretty much held maybe lost a pound or two. I've been on here and reading wherever possible, sounds like you are doing the same thing. I'm 5'8'' and stay around the 1550 and less, keep my carbs under 20, most of the…

I looked at your diary, you're not doing bad over all just need to bring down your carbs a bit. Maybe you can go in some others diary and take a look also to get an idea of what different people are doing. Good luck with your low carb eating!

I'm also the same as the others, love my bpc. It took me awhile to try it because butter in coffee w/coconut oil, umm made me a little nervous. Once I tried it yum, so smooth, good, and filling. I do 2/3 cups every morning w/butter, coconut oil, heavy whipping cream, and stevia. I take it to work and it last. Here's a link…

Tappy44 you will soon fine that vegetables and fruit have a lot of carbs and you do need to watch how much protein you take in, even though from what I have read it is hard to get too much protein. I found this article helpful when I first started http://angrynutrition.com/burn-fat-without-trying-keto-101/ maybe this will…

Great job! I also love not having those cravings, my work has had lots of sweets, one is donuts, my favorite and I have stayed away from them, yeah. I will admit, my husband and I had a cheat day, decided to have a dessert but we were 6 weeks into keto before we did it. Had it, was satisfied and don't feel like I need more…

Great job sticking to your new life style change AND resisting the cookies. I'm on 5 weeks and enjoying it so far.

My bad with the spelling TWICE, omg, so sorry. @kendahlj yes, I work out 2/3 times a week. Nothing hard, just cardio and few light weights. Thank you all for your info, Sunny_Bunny's rant was exactly what I needed. That spoke volumes, thank you for sharing the article. I'm going to start taking pictures and measurements,…

Thanks Sunny_Bunny for the information. In the past I would sell up and I always blamed salt so since I've been doing Keto I've been nervous to increase. I've been way under, I will be upping it, no wonder I don't feel like I have all the energy in the world like everyone talks about.
-
Taking in to much salt doesn't that make you swell up, I know I've had issues with that in the past so I'm a little nervous about taking in to much salt?
-
Thanks kmn, I hope I take after you on that. :)

Thanks Super, I can feel and see it right under my breasts, I'm actually seeing curves. Just wish the scale would move.

I was curious about this subject too, thanks everyone for replying.

Great job, you look happier to! :)

Hi! I'm 5 weeks into it and enjoying it, not saying there are some down days. Feel free to add me, always looking for support and to give.

Never heard of this before, looked up the link you gave @koochhill, looks interesting. I have to use up the other food I already have but I think when I'm done with that I will definitely try it, thanks for sharing.

Congrats on your new journey, I too am new, this Saturday will be the three week mark for me and I've lost over 11 pounds so far, yeah. Also, I can't believe how good the food actually taste again, I was watching my fat (keeping it low, the old way) and food was just kind of blah, this way definitely has it's advantages.…

I'm new to this group and been with MFP for years. I have lost up 65 pounds but sad to say gained about 40 pounds back do to stress and loss in my life. I recently learned about keto and did a lot of research on it and decided to give it a try. Loving it, the food taste good and I've lost 11 pounds in two weeks.…
