  • I have just recently started using my elliptical, and the first time I was winded after 5 min. I managed to make it 20 min. I kind of made a plan for my elliptical workout now. I have a great workout playlist of songs and I spend the first 4 min just going slow and getting into a rhythm. Then I go at a medium pace for a…
  • I'm still nursing my just-turned 2 year old. But he really enjoys using the straw sippy cups when I'm at work or with his meals. Do what you feel comfortable doing, not what a dentist or anyone else wants you to do. If you and your daughter are still enjoying a breastfeeding realtionship then just keep going! :)
  • Burgandy colored 1982 Pontiac Acadian hatchback with a big ACADIAN written on the side.....it was my first car lol
  • I'm BF'ing my 10 month old, and I have lost barely any weight at all. I have always had a hard time losing while bf'ing. I exercise most days and accurately put in my food too. I have noticed I have lost many inches in the past 2 months since I decided to get serious about losing. So I'm trying not to get too stuck on the…
  • My (almost)10 month old slowed down in weight gain between 6-9 months too. I was told this is normal as long as he is still following healthy growth curve. Babies become so much more active and get busy playing during these months, so I wouldn't worry at all! Also, I would keep breastfeeding just as much and maybe increase…
  • I drink wine frequently, a couple times a week. I don't even worry about it. I still feed on demand, even after having 2-3 glasses, but my son is usually in bed anyway when I drink. There's no need to pump and dump or wait it out. Basically if your drunk then you shouldn't nurse :)
  • Even though you're feeling up to it, I would really wait at least 3-4 weeks before doing any strenuous activity. You're body is going through a lot of changes right now and it's important for you to be well rested. Take your time healing, it sounds like you're going to bounce back pretty fast anyway :) Congratulations on…
  • Thanks! I eat almost all of that, but good idea to add some nuts to my smoothies!! I also can't really have dairy as my son is sensitive, but I try to fit a cheese string in here and there because I love cheese lol :)
  • I don't count the breastfeeding in anymore, it confused me too! lol. I'm netting about 1500 a day and my supply is fine at that, I'm also 9 months postpartum so don't need as many calories as I did in the beginning to build supply. I also add in every amount of exercise and extra activity I do during the day and I try to…
  • Half a cucumber, half a tomato, cut up bite size. Add 1 tsp olive oil, 1-2 tsp vinegar, pinch of curry, pinch of basil, pinch of garlic powder. Mix it all up and enjoy! Only about 80 cal :)
  • It's super easy! I just gave my son fruits and veggies that were already in the house pureed. A good one to start out with is sweet potatoes, avocados, or bananas for a first food to try! Easy to puree, just add a little water to make it thinner. After a few weeks I started adding in whatever we ate for meals. I bought a…

  • Nursing as much as possible is a good way to increase your supply, sometimes pumping can deplete the supply and not empty the breast enough. The first 4-5 weeks is always the toughest for breastfeeding, but it gets much easier the longer you do it! I made myself comfy on the couch the first month and nursed a lot. Also,…
  • My son is 8.5 months and he is 19lbs, but he is long too 31". I wouldn't worry too much, it's more about each individual baby following their own growth curve. So if your LO is growing at a steady pace then she's fine!
  • My 2 oldest girls (12 and 9) are just over 2.5 years apart and they get along well, they fight alot too though! Then there is 4 years between my 9yr old and 5yr old daughter and they get along well. My 12 year old and 5 year old don't get along. The only thing with the age difference is my 5 year old feels left out a lot…
  • Paleo is a natural diet consisting of any foods that you would find in the caveman days. Meat from grass-fed animals, fish, fruits, veggies, nuts, eggs. Foods like grains, dairy, processed food, refined sugars and oils are not to be eaten. Some people go "full paleo" and are quite rigid with the diet. I am breastfeeding so…
  • My son is 8 months old and I just stopped wearing my maternity pants about a month ago when I MADE myself finally buy new clothes even though they were a bigger size then I wanted to buy, and a sexy pushup bra that my husband is thankful for. He wasn't into the nursing bras I guess lol ;)
