Yes I was definitely saying 1100 as a net calorie intake. I run, so some days I burn around 400/500 calories on top of strength training and such, some days my exercise is up to 600 calories and I just struggle to eat enough to get my net OVER 1200. I really like this thought. With my BMR telling me I should eat 1500 calories a day, I REALLY cannot eat that much. I have tried but I just can't. I get all my macro goals with around 1100 calories. So like nutshel said, it's the nutrition which is important!

could it be that you were eating around 2000 calories over the holidays so your body had to work harder to burn those extra calories it wasn't used to getting, and now you've dropped back down it's holding on to food which it normally wouldn't? maybe set yourself a day where you eat around 2000 and then keep it around 1700…
