I sweat a lot when I work out, but I do notice I don't sweat on a normal basis as mauch as I used to, The heat doesn't bother me like it used to either! I have lost about 57 pounds so far!

Go to the gym, work out. Come home, shower, eat a light dinner, then have sex! Any reason they can't all be done?

You amaze me! I am so proud of you and your accomplishments. I know you will continue to do well, ans I am so happy you are my friend!

Lady Gaga! Marry The Night, Judas, and Hair are my favorties! Brandi Carlisle - Dreams is good too!

Would love it!

I personally don't like dvds - but that is just me. I like the personal interaction with the instructor and my instructor is awesome! Shs is engaging and talented. To me that is 2/3 of the class. The zumba part is fun too, don't get me wrong - I just like the interaction with others. I have been going twice a week since…

Not sure about what Tesco is - a brand? I found that many of the packaged deli meats are high in sodium. If you have fresh cut deli meats, Boars Head is pretty low. The one packaged I found that was half the amount of sodium than others is called "Healthy Ones". They have 250+ instead of 500+ mg per serving.

If you keep it up, the soreness goes away as your muscles get used to being used again!

Generally 1- 2 pounds per week is safe. At first it is not unusual to lose 4 or more in the first 2 - 3 weeks, but after that it slows down if you are doing it correctly. You will reach a plateau and will need to make some changes - either in diet or exercise - to recharge yourself and keep losing. Be slow about it and it…

I was on WW before Points Plus. I like MFP and counting calories because for me it is easier. I can look at the product and see the calories and don't have to do the figuring. I know that foods that are high in protein and fiber are better. I ahve gotten pretty good at guessing the calorie content of a food too - then when…

I have a Polar FT4. It cost me around $100 and I got it on a website Heart Rate Monitors USA. Very good - accurate and easy to use. The best money I ever spent.

I love the way I feel after I exercise! I feel like I have accomplised a lot, and actually have an increase in energy! I started out with 20 -30 minutes of walking a few times a week, and doing zumba - low impact. Now I walk 3 -4 miles in an hour and my zumba is high impact. I feel so much better after I exercise, and it…

I find that hard to believe too. I mean, if they are on a weight loss program, then obviously they had no problem eating those calories before! Maybe they have a harder time eating the same amount of calories with healthy food, don't know...I have read a few diaries on some posts and what they eat is absolutely horrible! I…

Four days! Good drief - give yourself some time. It takes at least a week or two to get into the groove and for your body to react. Watch your calories, eat well, exercise and drink a lot of water. It will work, but give it time. My motto - "Nothing Fast Will Ever Last" Best of luck!

Awesome - I love how you have photo'd your progress! When you feel like you haven't made progress, the photos don't lie!

you are looking sooo good! Keep up the good work!

PB2 is a powdered peanut butter without the fat and 1/2 the calories. A smoothie with greek yogurt, some skim milk, cocoa, PB2 and a little Splenda. If you make it ahead of time, don't use ice and put in the freezer, then take out a little while before you drink it. If you make and drink right away, add ice to make it…

Zumba and walking - my two favorite things!

I wouldn't even mind paying some for the water if it was in a 16.9 oz bottle! It always kills me that at fairs, craft shows, etc... you pay $2.00 for soda and $4.00 for water. You are right WTF??!!

Grape tomatoes! They are like candy!

I have a Polar FT4. It is worth the money spent. I can't imagine not having it. I never realized how many calories I actually burned before and this helps me to keep on track. I wear it for just about every activity I do outside of my normal day. It has been successful for me.

Weight Watchers is the best. They teach you to eat the right way, and you have the support of others. But remember, nothing is easy or fast. You have to work at it and be patient. You have to have a good leader at Weight Watchers so you are motivated to continue. Jenny Craig is easy because you eat their food - it isn't…

Best money I ever spent. It does everything I need it to, and is very accurate! I got mine at Heart Rate Monitors USA - they are always having a sale. Done't waaste money on cheaper HRMs - I have two that are junk. Spend the money and get a good one. Best of luck!

I log everything I eat and all my exercise. If you walk to and from classes, and your work is fairly active, that should be considered part of your daily activity and should be built into your calorie allowance based on your day. I have a sedentary job, anf spend most of my day at a desk.
-
I agree. I was not on a plateau, but when I got a HRM, I found I was burning more calories than I had estimated. I started eating more and have been losing 2 - 2.5# per week for the past 5 -6 weeks. It was hard to do - I had the same mindset as you!
-
I think that is a great idea! I wonder if they tried that here in the States if the bikes would get stolen! Or abandoned because the people didn't want to bring them back - we are such a strange lot here in the USA! LOL! If you like the biking, then you could buy a bike of your own to take out on the trails or country…

Add 1 TBSP peanut butter, and 1 TBSP dark chocolate chips or dark cocoa. Loaded with protein and very filling! I also use PB2 - a peanut butter powder that has less calories but all the flavor. You can add protein powder to the oatmeal too and it will add benefits and flavor.
