  • Me too! I could use a lot of motivation right now! I just started my own 30 day weight loss challenge! Add me!
  • I pretty much have the same thing going on. PMS means I need something sweet! Last week, I indulged in bowlful of ice cream on three days! But I need to cut the *kitten* out, stop giving reasons and sabotaging my own weight loss. Seriously, sometimes I look in the mirror and feel smaller and think of giving up! Then I…
  • I don't use protein powders. I think I should consult a doctor before changing some habits completely. I've had an Indian upbringing and some food groups might not be completely suitable for people. But I will surely ask my doctor if I could use protein powders. I do use tofu once in a while. The availability of it where I…
  • So pumped up for June! I really hope I keep this going. I went walking for 30 mins and did abs for another 10. A little too less for a complete workout but I'll still take it because I'm cooking for a potluck party now and was determined to do something since I'll be drinking today. I'm breaking down my goals into three 10…
  • Hello Ladies, So nice to read all your messages. It is nice to know I have support here. I will try and do the same for you. (feel free to add me) I'm really upset that my friends and family call me fat. I'm 8-10 kilos above my weight range and not obese! I want to be photographed without inhibitions and look good. May has…
  • I'm in too. May has been an eye-opener, in the sense that it I've taken a hard look at things and I understand my excuses not to eat well/ exercise is the only reason I'm here. June will be better.
  • Hi ladies, Sorry for my late response. Thank you all for the great advice. I will remember (and possibly write everything and stick it on my fridge to help me remember my goals) them the next time I've had a bad day. Ranting it out and reading all your responses has actually made me more 'responsible'. Every time I feel…
  • Tax, wish you a speedy recovery. Go luck, Ashley! I'm planning to redeem myself and get my *kitten* back on track. Week 2 has been lousy and emotional. I'm job hunting and there's just too much pressure. With every rejection, my self-confidence lessens and self-pity grows. I hate myself for doing that. Week 3 is very…
  • Hey everyone, Day 1 was nothing but motivating. I really wanted to keep my promise of 2000 cals this week and so I started pretty good. Since I'm still wondering what workout is best for me, given my knee pain, I took a steps class and it was brilliant. I enjoyed it and to my utter surprise, I wasn't tired at the end of it…

  • May is finally here. My first week goal is to get to the gym at least on 4 days and to do cardio for 30 mins at least. I have a weird knee pain whenever I'm biking outside and I want to avoid injury at any cost. I'm hoping I'll get to at least 2000 cals before Tuesday. Good luck everyone!
  • Hello everyone, First of all, thank you for doing this. I've been falling off the wagon way too many times and I'm glad I'm joining the group before it all starts. My name is Pooja and I'm 26 years old. My goal is to lose 2.5 kilos (5.5 lbs?) before the end of May. I'll be going to Venice with my Husband and want to wear a…
  • Been 4 days since day 2. Thesis writing is killing me. I'll be back tomorrow, hopefully.
  • Hello there, Congratulations on making this bold decision to be healthier. MFP is an awesome and inspiring community for weight watchers. I'm one too. As far as tips are concerned, I will tell you what I've been doing so far. 1. I divide my calories into 5 meals, so that my brain can understand I'm eating quite a…
  • Quick question: Is it really necessary to carry the weights for lunges and other exercises Jillian does on level 1? I don't have weights at home and I plan to go to the gym thrice a week, so I do some weights there anyway. I do what Jillian does but without weight. I know it makes a difference but how much difference, I…
  • Did day 1, level 1 two days ago and haven't found 20 mins to do my second day. Hating myself for it. Hopefully, I'll get to day 2 tomorrow. Good luck, everyone!
  • You look fab! And it does look like you lost a LOT of weight. This is so inspiring. I was just planning on ditching my day 2 of 30 DS but I guess I will find time to do it now. Well done!
  • Hello all, I've looked at the 30 Day shred. There are three levels (so three values) for the program. How do you plan it? 10 days for each level? I'm not sure how to do it and I don't have a DVD, so need to do from youtube. Please enlighten me. :) I've tried and failed at it before and I'm failing at my goal to lose 5 kgs…
  • That sounds really good and challenging enough. Quick question though, what's DS? (Sorry, I've been on and off here) I missed out a few days last week but want to follow the next 30 days without fail.
  • Add me, please! I just started and I have 30 lbs to lose. Since I've just started, it's so hard to not give in to those temptations. But since the past few days, I've been strong. I hope I continue this way. Good luck to us all!
  • Congratulations on the new born! I joined MFP 2-3 weeks ago but my strict diet starts from this week. I'm 26 years and have been overweight all my life. =\ I've decided I'm going to change that. Do add me and let's all support each other through this tough journey. Bikini Summer 2013, here I come! Cheers.
