Jo! I've been gone too long. I see you mod here now! Right on!! Okay, so last time I was here we joked around about the big M one day with your BF and looks like the time is coming! (Pre) CONGRATS! ;) Also, now I want pickles. Damn you!

Sardelsa- I actually really like this program. I'm not going to lie…I put this program off for a long time because I was concerned my upper body strength would fall behind, but I am seeing great gains all around! With that said, it's always a "watching paint dry" situation for me as well. So, while I don't see a huge…

Holy crap. I'm so freaking sore!! Started BBB 5/3/1 yesterday and completed day 2 this morning. I haven't been this sore in almost a year. Ouch! On another note, re comping is awesome. I feel fabulous and my lifts are solid! I'm riding this out until August and then coming back for bulk 2!

Same, after maintenance break, cut started March 1st. Feeling so much better back in maintenance, lifts shooting up again. Yahooo!

Ooooh love PDC! We usually go down to Akumal but are thinking of PDC next summer. Have a great time!! Jo...possible engagement up ahead? Pre- congrats! ;) Well, I finally dropped a pound...on maintenence. My body is such a troll!

Oooooh, where in Mexico are you going? We usually go in June to celebrate our anniversary but decided to skip this year and double down on a longer and more luxurious mexico Vaca next summer. I'm jealous!

Jo- Started cut at 136ish. Lost it all (water weight) in the first week. I've been stuck at 130.2 since week 2 of my cut, moving up and down the scale, gaining and losing the same water weight over and over depending on time of the month. I just got to the point where I'm over it! My waist went down almost 2 inches, which…

Soooo...I quit! Something triggered in me and I can no longer cut. Ha. Don't know why I'm having such a hard time where as last year I remained in a deficit for 12 months straight! Anyway, I'm over it. Sure, my waist isn't as tiny anymore and yeah, there are no abs to be seen. Meh. I'm 130 now. No more 120s for this chick.…

Nice- that site is pretty cool. Will have to play around on it later! I'm the dork who still tracks all lifts with pen and paper. :)

Alright. Gave myself a week break to eat at maintenece if I was feeling it (did for 3 days out of 7) and now I am back to it until June. Hopefully I won't have to go that long but that's as long as I am willing to cut. Anyway, still no scale loss. Cant seem to budge past 130.2. Whatever- I'm not concerned because I did…

Ladies, ladies, ladies… ALL OF YOUR STORIES ARE INTERESTING!!! For real. I'm serious. I loved reading about how we all got to this point! Every. Single. One. of you are inspiring. Thank you for sharing! :flowerforyou:

Love reading these. Keep em coming, ladies!

It certainly messes with your head when your body won't do what it's "supposed to do" as a woman. Lifting has given me back that missing piece by allowing me to see that my body isn't ruined or messed up.

Love this. I grew up active in general (always played outside, riding bikes, swimming, etc) but never did any sports. I did gymnastics and dance for a quick minute in my teen years and joined cross country in High School. Grew up on lots of canned, processed junky kind of food. Never had a fruit or veggie until my…

I'm a little pissy today… I initially dropped a little water weight when I started my cut and then saw no scale loss, but had a great measurement loss on waist and around my belly so I remained hopeful. Well, I gained that water weight back during TOM and have not dropped it since. I feel like I'm just spinning my wheels…

I use an old vinyl foam pool float that I cut in half and then I fold that in half!

I had a sweet RRRRAAAWWWRRR moment about a month ago when my brother-in-law walked through my home gym after I had just finished DL'ing. I still had the plates on the bar on the ground and he looked up at me in disbelief and said "Did my brother lift all that!?!?!". I laughed and said "No way, dude….that was me.". :noway:…

Hell to the no. If it stresses you out too much, maybe consider it like a mini-challenge to practice balance & moderation in your life. I get one weeks worth of vacation a year and on that week- I put the log down and enjoy my time with my husband and kid to the fullest. I've been diligently tracking for over 2 years now…

Great job! Looking forwards to the "full write- up"! :)

Welcome! I understand how nerve wracking it is. Good advice above. I also tracked daily and took an average, adjusted from there. Enjoy your bulk!

I want to second that you might feel better with reverse dieting down slowly and just the initial drop in water. I hold all my water weight in my belly too, right where I had my c-section years ago- I look 5 months pregnant during bulking season. :) Once I peeled that off, I was fine. I was running around in my summer…

After all was said and done (weight fluctuated quite a bit)- 10lbs in 20 weeks. So, .5lbs a week. Some weeks I saw no gain, some weeks I saw a massive gain. Just like cutting, it wasn't linear for me.

Dropping in to say I took some measurements this morning for month one into cut and after no loss on the scale this week, I was pleasantly surprised! I've lost 1.25" on my waist and 1.25" around my belly button. I am really thrilled with my overall look at this point! Lifts are still increasing and my energy level is…

Incredible!!!!!!! Badass job!!!!! Thank you so much for sharing! I must say, you've really pumped me up for this. I was teeter tottering but now it's all I can think about!
-
Nice- glad to see some updates in here on the cuts! Mine is going nice and slow. Down a lb after the initial loss of water weight bloat I was carrying around. I'm actually pretty happy with how I look now that my food baby gut is gone, so I don't think I will cut as much as I had originally intended! Maybe just a few more…

Dude…your bench# has me like O M G :noway:     I'm excited for you! Can't wait to hear about it! I have started browsing the numbers being put up in my local area just to see what I'd be up against… Def considering competing one day… I have a few more bulks to get in before I can hang with the cool…

Great Job!

Ah, badass! I have become increasingly interested in powerlifting. Let us know how it goes!!

Awesome job!! Thanks for sharing!

Bulk complete as of Sunday! After all was said and done, I am exactly at the weight I wanted to bulk to in the exact amount of weeks I had planned to bulk. That worked out well! I have now slowly begun my transition to maintainence before I roll over to my cut. I've already dropped a little fluff in measurements so what I…
