Working out doesn't give you a pass to pig out. Eat smart and kick the hunger. A post workout whey protein will fuel you. Always incorporate lean protein into every meal. Hard boiled eggs, cottage cheese, chicken, fish and so on. When I first became a marathon running I gained 12 pounds. I thought running 20 miles gave me…

Running is such a personal preference, but I will ask is there a reason you want to do two a day runs? It's good to weight train and run on the same days so on your off days your legs get a true rest. When I'm training for a marathon or relay race I do two a day runs for teaching my body the stress. My body tends to be…

1) having to buy all new scrubs for work 2) feeling full after two slices of pizza when I used to eat an entire medium 3) running one marathon after the next. I used to run just 5ks but now that I'm capable of running 26.2 miles I force myself to sign up for two every year. 4) resizing my wedding ring again and again and…

Been there! I drink protien shakes after I'm done, which is about 210 calories and 26 grams of protien to keep me full. It works like a charm!

Decrease my marathon time. I'm a slow runner and tend to injure before races so my best time is 5 hours and I'm shooting for 4:30 in April.

Forgot to say carb up for a few days before the race. Runnerworld.com has a section on what to eat a few days before races. I always stay away from fiber two days before, because we'll I'm sure you can figure you that out ;)

Every runner is different. I eat an early dinner and then get up three hours before the race to eat oatmeal and a banana so I don't have stomach issues. Do what is good for you. I don't typically get hungry during 1/2 marathons but during full marathons I bring protein bars with me. GOOD LUCK!!!!! Enjoy the moment, because…

I think a lot of us women have been there. Here are a few tricks I used in order to feel comfortable. 1) met with a trainer twice in order to get familiar 2) I will look up and write down exercises before I go in so I'm not lost or walking around 3) get a workout buddy. I highly recommend a trainer for a time or two to get…

Running is a mental game. You can physically train your body to run the miles, but you also have to mentally train your brain. Here are a few ideas, but remember running is not a one size fits all. 1) new music track 2) new running route 3) run with a partner - my favorite 4) get a new running outfit and/or shoes 5) sign…

I was once 222lbs. I remember attempting to jog down the road and someone yelling out their car window "keep running fatty!" I was so angry, but I kept running. I'm now 72lbs lighter and can run 20 miles. I started by running one block at a time. It was a lot of work, but I never gave up. Running is mental and you have to…

OMG! My husband has these and I hate them! Everytime he puts them on I cringe as we walke out the door and ask him if he is sure he wants to where those to Target.

I run 3-4 days a week during Marathon training and the time varied by miles I'm running. When I am not running I just do 20 mins of High Interval Itensity Training for 20 mins on the spin bike.

5'10 and currently 153. My first goal weight was 150, but now that I'm so close I still feel quite large so I'm going to reset it to 145-150. It's so crazy seeing people around my height and weight and they look so much smaller then I do.
-
I was wearing size 16 and XL tops. I'm 5'10. Now at 153 I'm wearing M shirts and size 8 pant.

I'm 5'10 and I went from 222lbs to 154lbs with a GW of 145. Honestly I think a lot others who are my height/weight look a lot smaller then me.

Have fun together. My husband and I are just dorks. When he was home a military leave I remember it was 1am and we were walking around our house giving each other piggy back rides. We always find ourselves laughing. Oh and dont expect things to be perfect. Remember before you think about trying to change someone think…

After losing my first 50lbs I rewarded myself with implants. I have never had children and don't plan on it, but the implants made me very happy and confident. I was a b cup then went to an a after the weight loss and now I'm a d. I'm super happy with my decision and feel great. It was fun reaching my goal and getting my…

I prefer my bed unmade. I have my pillows set in such a way that if I made my bed it would take time away from my sleep if I had to "unmake" it to my liking.
