  • YES YOU CAN!! I also heard the same thing. I'm 5'll, and topped out at 323. Because I was so tall, and I have an hourglass shape...I was big, but I didn't look 323 big! I have a son, who is just my everything! As much as I'm doing this for myself, I'm doing it for him. I don't want to hold him back, but help motivate him…
  • I'm also doing C25K! I start week 4 Monday! I think one day I would love to do a half marathon, but first I want to conquer this 5K!
  • Hello! I log on every day! I'll shoot you a request!
  • I'm going sky diving! I've always wanted to do it, so once I hit my "big goal" I'm jumping out of a plane!
  • Welcome! You will get out of MFP what you put in! Good luck to you!
  • I had lost 60 pounds before I found out I was pregnant. Through my pregnancy I only put on 25 pounds (he was almost 8 pounds). I gained back the other 35 pounds after I had him. I lost control of my tendency to stress eat. But, I've managed to get back on my feet. He is worth it. Trust me, that first time they call you…
  • awesome job! You look great!
  • I'm starting week three on Monday. I can get on the elliptical and go at 5mph for 40-50 minutes like it's nothing. I try to run for a minute and a half and it's so hard! I have also found that it is much easier to run on a treadmill than on my own at the park. I can run for 10 minutes straight on the treadmill. Granted…

  • I would say change up your workout routine. You're body does "get used" to certain exercise. I would say change it up. I've you're always on a treadmill or always on an elliptical try a step aerobic class, or use a workout DVD. You have to keep changing it up on your body! Also, try a little variety in your diet :) you'll…
  • I'm doing C25K currently. It was a bit of a shock to me that I could go for 30-50 minutes at over 5mph on the elliptical and didn't get winded but would run for a minute and a half and would get a stitch in my side! I just concentrate on my breathing, and also how I'm running. I realized I was slamming my feet down pretty…
  • I used ramen as a staple in my college diet....but I was paying my own way and worked two jobs....so I was kind of backed into a corner. Flash forward a few years, and working a real job and I won't touch them! I couldn't imagine how hard having a disorder like that would be to deal with. My heart goes out to her.
  • I've just started my journey into running! I'm looking for more friends that do that! Currently working through the C25K and have signed up for my first 5k in June!
  • Hello! I have more weight to lose than you, but I have been doing this a few months now! I always welcome new friends! Feel free to add me! I'm 25 (26 this year) and I'm a mother to a happy beautiful 8 month old little boy!
  • Well, just know that everyone has good and bad weeks. You have to just know that they will come and go. Consistency is the key. It's taking pride in the small accomplishments and not the scale. For me, I love sweets. LOVE LOVE LOVE! When I can chose a healthier option over an ice cream (say an apple), then I feel good. I…
  • my experience is you will get what you put into it. be honest and log everything! Good luck!

  • There is an app you can get called "You are your own Gym"...lots of body weight exercises!
  • I started Week one on Monday, I'm doing my second day tonight! So far..not so bad. I got through it okay, but I'm not trying to run fast..I just want to run a 5k lol
  • I logged everything I ate. Saturday was horrible, yesterday wasn't too bad. I didn't gain anything, but I didn't lose anything either! Back to business as usual!
  • I do believe people need at least a day during the week to rest, but there isn't any problem going 3 days in a row though!
  • It's possible. Just make sure you're eating enough (and of the right stuff) and don't skip out on the exercise! I'm loosing about 1.5 pounds - 2 pounds a week.
  • Depending on your BC it can change the level and severity of the "spotting". I'm using nexplanon..and since I've been on it my lady "issue" hasn't been the same. Research exactly what you're on and see if there are others with that side effect. I mean..some BC makes your hair fall out! You just never know!
  • Instead of using traditional pasta, try using Spaghetti Squash!
  • I'm starting this on April 1st! I have signed up for a Color Run for my birthday in June! It's a bucket list item of mine to run a 5k! Feel free to add me! I've never been a runner, and I'm still a bigger gal, but I know I can do it!
  • Don't avoid it! It's okay to snack! I break down my food diary as so... Breakfast 350 calories Lunch 400 calories Dinner 350 calories Snacks 400 calories This way I can have three snacks a day...between breakfast and lunch, between lunch and dinner, and after my workout if I feel like I need one. The last snack I try to…
  • Plan better. I usually log my morning and after noon snack and lunch before I leave for work. This way I know exactly what I need to eat before I'm back home at 4:30. Try to keep foods on an average. I aim for 350 breakfast 400 lunch, 350 Dinner, and 400 calories in snacks. I leave a wide margin in my snacks just in case…
  • I don't eat any more than I do any other time of the month. I will up my water intake to kind of off set any bloating. Other than that, things as normal. I might be a bit more cranky...but that's just the way it goes lol
  • If you add me this is about where I stay at all times...I have lots of good ideas on there
  • If you know the places he typically wants to go eat out...Just have things picked out that fall within an acceptable range of your calorie goals. For instance, Burger King Grilled chicken Salad, no croutons, and a light dressing can bring you in under 350 calories. I always like to say, plan for success. Just have a game…
  • I filled it out a while back and stll waiting for my twin lol!!
