  • I don't believe those things truly work. From what I've read in other threads/on workout sites and blah... they tell you to use that tummy lotion for pregnant women - I believe it's the Palmers "coco butter" brand. Something about the vitamins in it helps the collagen and elasticity in your skin. Also, drink a lot of…
  • I'm currently on my weight loss journey and I've started taking spin classes. I love them!! Here are my tips. 1. Buy a padded seat or padded shorts. Yes your butt will still hurt the first 3 or 4 times you go, but I promise it becomes tolerable. In a good spin class, you will be up and down off the seat anyways, so it will…
  • I don't have any pics for you, but I just finished last week. I lost 30 pounds just by running the program. I ate like crap all the way through may and kept losing! I started not being able to run at all, and on my last day I ran 2.75 miles!
  • I just finished yesterday!! I also noticed a pain in my lower back at one point...that's bad running form. concentrate on not pounding your feet. It should be almost like a glide or think "light on the toes". That will help fix that! if not, look into getting some good running shoes. I went to a running shoe store and had…

  • Well, I'm a woman so my weight loss journey is a little different...but I couldn't see a difference in myself until I lost 50 pounds :/ That's amazing that you're getting so close! Be proud!!
  • I totally voted for you! I loved the video!!
  • I started C25K and I was 289....I have my very last run on the program (that's right W9D3) and I'm weighing in at 263. Weight loss wise it was great! Self pride wise it is phenomenal!!! I'm running right under 3 miles now and my first 5k is in a few weeks. Stick with it, it is totally worth it. It has made a runner out of…
  • Oh man, if I had a dollar for every time I heard that in college I wouldn't have any student loan debt!! I'm 5'10.5 so I usually say 5'11. I was 323 in January and weighed in today at 265! If you're you're ready you can do it!!
  • Welcome back! Feel free to add me!
  • I had one run that was like that! I got to the track and a huge storm hit! I found that lightening was a great motivator to run faster!! I am running Week 9, day 2 tomorrow!
  • How great!!! I bet you're walking in the clouds now!

  • I'm 5'10.5...so basically 5'11...anyhow I started at 323 and I'm now 265...Ultimately I would like to get to 170! Which would put me on the higher end of a "healthy" weight.
  • My mom has always said these two things, that have turned out to be so true in life. "Time will heal all wounds, but it will wound all heels. Don't run from your problems, because you'll never get away from them." "When you hit rock bottom, stop digging!" Both of these sayings never made sense until now. She's an…
  • Chunky Chicken Stew Makes 2 Servings 1 teaspoon Olive Oil 1 small onion, chopped 1 cup thinly sliced carrots 1 cup fat-free reduced sodium chicken broth 1 can (about 14oz) no-salt added diced tomatoes 1 cup diced chicken breast 3 cups sliced kale or baby spinach 1. Heat oil in large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add…
  • 1 banana 1 scoop chocolate protein powder 1/2 tsp vanilla 1 cup almond milk 15 ice cubes Blend well :D This is divine I use Syntha-6 protein powder chocolate peanut butter :) This was posted earlier this week. Though, as someone who is a sweets junkie it would be wise to invest in some fruit and get the jello mousse…
  • I can tolerate stevia...but I prefer xylitol. Give that a try!
  • I haven't heard of this...buuutttt...if you do it, I may just do it with you! It could be fun to see how it works out!
  • I took my distance, and figure out my pace and logged it accordingly. so I went from 3.5 walk to now I run 5.5mph. The longer your intervals become the fast the speed you log. I'm currently in Week 7, so I'm actually logging 25 minutes of jogging.
  • Well, I tend to eat a lot of the same things...but I also go on this weird ruts where I only like eating certain things. Then I switch it up. Currently, loving peanut butter crackers... As long as what you're eating is nutritious and fitting into your daily goals I don't see the problem. Add a multivitamin for good measure…
  • I have never run in my life and I'm on week 7 day 2. It's crazy. I'm running 25 minutes straight with 11:19minute mile pace and doing over 2 miles. It works, but you have to push yourself and keep working at it.
  • I'm working my way through C25K currently! I'm on W7D2!
  • I'm working towards losing about the same amount! Feel free to add me! I'm on everyday.
  • 5'10 here! When I notice I'm slowing down a bit on the weight loss I change up my workout routine! Even if that means upping the intensity at intervals. You body can be come laxed and go into a "groove". Also, look at your diet. Sometimes just because your in your calorie limit doesn't mean you aren't holding yourself…
  • I'm 25! I'm on pretty consistently! I've got a good amount to lose, but I'm getting there! Anyone is welcome to add me :)
  • The only advice I have is just don't run every day with C25K. I see a lot of people talk about how they do the app and then keep going and do two workouts back to back in one night. Don't do that. You have to let your body repair itself, and give your body a chance to build that stamina. Plus, I haven't hit a plateau...but…
  • My son is 8 months old. I had him by c-section. When he was about 4 months old I was ready to try and lose some weight. I had lost 60 pounds when I got pregnant. I only put on 25 during my pregnancy, but the stress of being a single mom and having a newborn, I put on another 45. I'm a recovering emotional/stress eater. I…
  • What works for me is that I set goals and challenges for myself. For instance, I decided I'm running a 5k in June. My reward? a FULL spa day. So there is my challenge (run the 5k) with my reward being a spa day. My "goal" is to weigh 260 by then. It's all about you driving you. No one else in my family is trying to live a…
  • I have found that when I do workout classes, people are great about helping with form. I went to a kickboxing class, where I was definitely the biggest person there. I thought I would be left behind, but instead everyone helped keep me going and gave me pointers on form. What you get out of it is what you put in. That's…
  • I've lost almost 50 and only just moved down a pant size where they didn't give me muffin top! I'm 5'10.5, and I'm hour glass shaped. It took a while for me..but I know I'm losing inches everywhere!
  • I am totally trying these in the morning!!!
